No pictures makes the whole book pointless. One can google, I suppose. That's why it is not very expensive but I don't find it useful and I'm an experienced chainmailler.

This book had excellent written directions. However, there were very few illustrations or pictures. They did not show step-by-step illustrations for any of the projects. As a matter of fact, there was not even pictures of each project. You have to guess at what you are making and what it is suppose to look like. I am not going to start a project blind without any idea of what it looks like . I did give it 2 stars , though, as the written directions were detailed.

When I purchased this four book package I was excited, expecting to learn many techniques to wire weaving. There are generally many details to learning wire weaving. Although Ms. Lange goes into great detail , there are no pictures to accompany the directions. It makes it more difficult to know if one is following the directions properly.

Not very pleased, I was hoping to have more of a visual of a step by step, especially for a first timer.

Some of the references in the bibliography were URLs to youtube videos. Not a real book, just a throwaway that some company in Vegas decided to print up. It's not that the information in the book is necessarily bad, it's that there are no pictures and this is supposed to be a beginner's book. Not returning because some of the references and terminology will be useful to me later. It's a pretty descent collection of knowledge on the subject, but no pictures make a lot of it guess work on the reader's part.

I purchased the Kindle version of this book and I am so glad I didn't buy the expensive hard copy version. At the very beginning there are a few pictures of basic wire wrapping, but as you continue through the book there are NO pictures. Nothing to show the design the author is talking about. Nothing to show a finished project. Nothing - just nothing. If you are a beginner like me, DO NOT buy this book unless you like to read instructions without any pictures.

I was hoping this would be a really inspiring book. I'm very disappointed. I'm a person who likes to see each stage of a process, not just words. My beading magazines have been much more helpful. This is one of my hobbies I was looking forward to spending most of my time on after retiring so you can understand my frustration. I believe the book is over priced. I originally ordered the 4 books on my kindle and was disappointed in the quality of the download. It's rather blurry making it difficult to read so I purchased the hard copy also. I suggest checking out Wire Weaving books from a store front now where I can actually see what's inside.

If you are looking for a how-to book, this is NOT it. There are no pictures of diagrams. You are expected to make a bracelet and a ring, but there is no picture of them to determine if you even want them, much less diagrams on what the how-to steps are. I am a very experienced wire wrapper, and I found the instructions hard to follow.

I didn't read all of them , but what I was I good explain and show the picture too. I like it

Books are really helpful

Je n'ai pas aimé de ne pas savoir dans quel livre je me trouvais. C'est extrêmement mal fait. On ne précise pas qu'il n'y a pas d'image pour aider la compréhension. NON je calcule avoir gaspillée mon argent pour des livres qui ne donne pas le contenu de l'annonce qu'ils en font.
