Perfect fit/ works great
This fit perfectly in my 2008 Sienna CE. Well made, well shipped. This is not an easy job; removal is difficult, but this part fit perfectly.

great rack n pinion
needed a new rack n pinion thought i would have to break the bank to get one till i found this one it was priced less then everywere else when i was looking and it was an exact match for my van.

Just what I ordered
It was much cheaper than the parts stores for sure, I still required a mechanic to install and for the part it is of course it’s difficult lol. I didn’t realize the core needed shipped back but luckily my mechanic caught it! ☺️

The part's are wrong
I got this to install in my 2005 sienna van it looked like the same parts so I install it. The rack didn't line up and could not be adjusted. The after market ends are wrong. It's a waste of 6 hours of labor don't purchase this part. I lost 15% restocking cost. I returned the part's and the company only returned $14 dollars because they said part's are used and the faulty part broke the air bag clock spring that I know need to get from Toyota a $350 part this is Remanufactured scrap metal this company is junk

Low Quality Product
I installed the rack and pinion on my Sienna. A month after it was installed and aligned, I noticed the front tires were severely worn. The shop investigated and stated that the bushings in the new unit were degraded allowing the rack to move around. I asked Detroit Axel for a refund on the defective item and they refused. They only authorize an exchange. As you can imagine, I am not very interested in putting in a low quality control part -- again, especially since I am already out the cost of labor and two tires.
