Definitely worth it!
Iβve had this model for several months and itβs the best basal thermometer Iβve used yet!Super easy and comfortable to wear, I do wish the app had a few more specifics in it when it comes to tracking symptoms, but otherwise it has been a great experience!

The only way to track your BBT without waking up at the same time every day as far as I know...
With a traditional BBT you have to wake up at the same time every day to get an accurate reading, not with the Tempdrop! This is the whole reason I bought it, and for that, it works great! It's not uncomfortable, although did take a few nights to get used to. I had it over a year before I had to change the battery which was easy to do. I would prefer if it had a rechargeable battery that I could plug in to charge or even a small charging stand that could live on my bedside table with the Tempdrop. There's only one button, so at first I was not sure if it was recording my temp or trying to Bluetooth sync but it's easy now that I've got the hang of it. The bluetooth sync does take a minute or so, it feels like forever when I'm trying to get ready in the morning.I don't use the Tempdrop app, I just copy the reading over to Kindara. I wish it would sync with Kindara automatically, I have years of data there and I'm just not switching charting apps to use the one that comes with a new device. It is slightly overpriced, I don't think the technology (a thermometer and Bluetooth device) is that revolutionary that it should cost nearly $200 (at the time I bought it). I think the price is coming down but that's probably the main thing stopping most people from trying this. A traditional BBT thermometer is a couple of dollars at the drugstore (free with some NFP classes). Even if they lowered the cost to $30-$60 I'd bet many many more people would try it because tracking BBT is truly a pain without it.Finally, the Tempdrop team seems reluctant to advertise that it can also be used to help avoid pregnancy (as well as achieve it). However, I think if they leaned into the TTA market it would be great for the company and consumers. I would love to see this company succeed because I love the product. I love tracking my cycle/charting, it helps me know my body and feel empowered and I would love to see more women get into it. Right now, the price of the Tempdrop is exclusive but it's a great product and I think if they lowered the price and expanded the market it could be even better.

Solves a problem but still some frustrations...
I've been using my Tempdrop since May of 2020 and here are my thoughts:Likes:-It's very convenient--it's nice to turn it on during my normal bedtime routine and take it off the next morning as a part of my morning routine so it's easy to use in that sense.-I don't have to worry about getting up every time each morning to temp or worry that the temp may be off if I get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.-It's nice that the algorithm automatically adjusts the temps over a few days so you don't have to worry about major outliers for one reason or another.Dislikes:-Syncing is such a huge pain for me. Every morning it takes me multiple tries to sync (even after reading countless tips on how to get it to work well) and I feel like if I just breathe on it wrong it won't work.-I don't love the frame/band--the device constantly pops out of the frame and the band isn't particularly comfortable for me. I don't wear bras to bed so the sports-bra option isn't really good for me.-I wish I could sync it or import the data automatically to my app of choice. I know the Read Your Body app is coming but in the mean time this has been really annoying to have to sync it and then manually enter the data into another app.********Edit as of May 2021: I'm adding a star to my original review due to the following adjustments that have been made in the last year that have improved my experience with this product:-The Read Your Body app was made available last year which made importing temps directly into a tracking app with a ton of custom options really easy. You do have to pay for a membership for the app (it is not a Tempdrop app), but I believe it's $14.99/year which isn't bad for something that makes tracking very easy.-The Tempdrop app itself has actually been redesigned and has helped a lot with the issues I had syncing my Tempdrop. I do still occasionally have issues with syncing, but it's become much more consistent with the app updates. The app still isn't quite as customizable as Read Your Body, but it does offer some options for other data input points if you don't want to download a second app.
