Survived a school science experiment
These are great. They were used by a teacher for a science experiment. It's good that they are plastic because one student dropped one. It survived just fine.

No - they are not Double Convex or Biconvex. They are Plano-Convex.
If it doesn't matter to you because they're a toy, then it doesn't matter.But, if you're expecting Biconvex or Double Convex Lenses, then these are in fact Plano-Convex Lenses. As you can see, plenty of other people are trying to point this out in the reviews, but I wanted to give some real evidence for it as well.

NOT DOUBLE CONVEX AS ADVERTISED
These lens are NOT double convex as noted in the description. Convex on one side and flat on the other. Bought for my classroom and don’t meet my need due to this false description.
