It really works.
Product works great. The instructions for the examples/labs are really bad, but there are tons of helpful websites and forums related to the Uno. I was able to run through the labs no issues (other than instructions) and able to program an ESP8266 within 10 minutes after hooking it up.. The USB port is a great feature...much better than the Serial-cable uP of old. The parts it comes with are adequate for tinkering, but the resistor legs are ultra-flimsy. The stepper motor would not engage and appeared to be jammed despite following the instructions and loading the stepper lab program...who cares though? Overall, a solid performer and a keeper.

Super fast shipping
litterally received this in a day crazy fast. But more on to the product . I gave 5 stars even with bent pins . I see they look at reviews as almost everything is connected to the breadboard to protect it but still the few things that were left out were bent . There are just something's u can not avoid and it was only a single pin bent a little that was easily fixed . All in all its a beautiful kit . Havnt put anything together yet as I havnt had really time to mess with it lots going on. But everything was there and a nice booklet . Although the booklet shows diagrams I wish it had atleast some code in it . Has a picture of the set up then a diagram and then a link to website for code to "copy and paste" well .. Maybe I want to actually write the code to understand it . I mean what's the fun of all u do is put a little wire in a bread board then copy and paste the real work ! But any ways it's a great kit and includes a lot .

Great Customer Service
I ordered 7 kits. One Uno board did not work on arrival. I sent in a video of the problem and they were prompt in replying and sending a replacement. It did ship from China and took about a week to get here, but they were friendly and did the best they could to resolve the problem. The kits work well for teaching programming and electronic basics. Highly recommend.

Great starter kit
The SunFounder Uno R3 Project Starter Kit arrived quickly and looks to be a quality board. I found an old phone charger rated at 5v & 600ma to power it. Started right up and had the Blink program running. However, the disc that contains the Lesson text did not read on my Dell Win 8 computer, and the book that came with the kit istoo small for me to see without a magnifying glass. An email to SunFounder tech support brought quick help. The lessons can be downloaded fromhttps://www.adrive.com/public/TrrWMJ/starter%20kit.ziporhttps://www.adrive.com/public/rfU55f/Starter Kit For ArduinoSoftware programs that run on the Arduino are called Sketches. Open-source Arduino software lets you write or modify Sketches and upload them to the Uno board. Download it from http://arduino.cc/en/Main/SoftwareWiring diagrams for the Arduino lessons are called Fritzes. Open-source Fritzing software lets you modify and display Fritzes. Download it from http://fritzing.org/download/Other discussion forums that look useful include:http://forum.arduino.cc/http://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/25578/how-to-use-external-power-supply-for-arduino-unohttp://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=207674.0http://mystry-geek.blogspot.com/2013/07/37-sensor-kit-from-sunfounder-lab.htmlhttp://github.com/BuckRogers1965/Sunfounder-37-Sensor-Kit

SunFounder Arduino UNO R3 starter kit from STREAMLED
The is a good starter kit with most of the pieces needed for small projects. It came with all the items shown in the picture.Quality:- UNO board had no issues Arduino board says SunFounder UNO. I doubt this is authentic. (seller does not claim it is, so nothing wrong here)- Board says "Made in Italy".- Board seems to have come with "Blink LED" code loaded. As soon as I plugged it, on-board LED was blinking.- Breadboard and jumper wires are OK, does not seem they will last. Nothing wrong for 1st timers trying few things.- All the parts are in a durable nice plastic box.Other thoughts:* Love to have some electrolytic capacitors included in the kit.Bad:* Packaging was not the best. The UNO was inside a plastic bag, sitting on top of the plastic box and not inside it, exposing the most valuable item to be damaged. They could have easily taken out the USB cable or breadboard from the box and put the UNO inside to ensure it suffers no damage. My unit came with most of the header pins bent, I was able to carefully re-align them. But this shows the seller did not give it any thought.

Great Value
Very nice starter kit! Got this as a gift for someone who is studying computer engineering, I figured this would be a fun project for them to learn how to program while making cool things using circuitryThe included disc has sample code, Fritzing (a circuit designing software), sample videos, and the arduino software. The arduino software also has its own sample codes, so there is a lot to get you started!Includes a little carrying box with resistor color code chart, and a board to mount your arduino and breadboard to.Loads of little parts and jumpers to get you started!
