It's pretty cool. Better than expected.
I was actually impressed when I opened the package. The quality seems really nice. The wood is handsome. It feels solid and the radio tuner is surprisingly good. I was also able to connect to the Bluetooth without issue. I was also surprised that the sound is as good and loud as it is. It's no Bose of course. There is a slightly canned quality to the sound. But it's not bad. We like the slightly old-timey quality of the sound. It matches the aesthetic. There are RCA speaker jacks in the back, so if you want a bigger sound, you can easily attach auxillary speakers to it and hide them nearby.

Compliment magnet.
Love the looks and reception, but the sound quality of the speakers could be better. I'm still very satisfied with my purchase.

Retro Style ~ Impulsive Purchase ~ Very Pleased
Absolutely love this. I bought it primarily because of the looks and the fact that its' made from wood. The detail in the grill is a nice touch. I listen to Hawaiian and classical music on it. I love the blue illumination dial for FM and purple for FM Stereo. AM and FM come in quite clear and fairly loud, BT signal lacks and volume is very low for some reason, probably vintage BT. Anyway, I own several Marshall BT speakers, they are all the bomb with nice deep rich lows. The Pyle of course does not compare, it's more for looks and aesthetics and goes well in my man cave. Just another addition to my impulsive buying of audio stuff. If you're looking for quality sound, you'll be disappointed as there is no low end. None. However, I give it 5 stars for what it is, retro style with a transistor radio quality sound and a superb looking radio!

Fun radio, pick up some low capacity SD cards
Everything new is old again. Pick up some low cost, low capacity full sized SD cards or USB sticks. You can make each card into an album or two by genera etc.. I piled some 50s and 60s music (mp3s) on them for a trip down memory lane to my youth and the days of radio, first tube, and then, wow, "transistor" (remember the "how many transistors does your radio have" days?) Try some old holiday music. I've loaded some Twighlight Zone, BBC Radio Sci-Fi/Dramas, and some CBS Mystery Theater programs as well. While this is all available on YouTube, sometimes, while you could probably Bluetooth, it's nice to turn off modern electronics and drift back in time. The radio works generally well (certainly not going to pull and separate weak signals out of the air) and sound fidelity is lacking but, I assumed it was in keeping with what was standard for this type of radio and the available programming at the time. Yes, vintage all the way except the USB and Bluetooth functions. Speaking of Bluetooth, I have not tried it yet.

Great radio for the money
It's got a solid feel, quality design and finished wood cabinet, and clean, clear audio. Add the SD and USB slots on the side and the input for CD player or turntable in the back to the Bluetooth capability and this is one multitalented radio! It's perfect for listening to audio books and podcasts via the Bluetooth interface, and just about any other type of media will work with this radio.I put a Grundig AN-200 tunable medium wave loop antenna next to the left end of the radio and that got me crystal clear sound on my local AM radio station. This inductive coupling method is great for cleaning up static prone stations and when the radio is designed like this one to give you the best fidelity in the sound department you get the best AM listening ever. For the price this is the best radio investment you can make. There are more expensive radios and more bass oriented EQ on most modern radios but if you want to hear it like it was when radios like this had tubes in them, this is your radio. My only critique is the blue LED lighting in the tuning dial area. Blue is hard on the eyes, and a nice warm amber or white LED would have been a better choice. That's the only thing I don't like on this radio, but it isn't a deal breaker - I can always use a small flashlight to illuminate the dial.My advice - Get one before they stop making this gem.

Worthless
Purchased one as a gift for my father for Christmas. Within a week it stopped working, so I did an exchange. Same thing. Quit working within a week. I returned that one. 3 months later they finally issued my refund minus $20 for “damage”.

I am objectively cooler because I own this. It might work for you as well.
So a while back I was kind of down. I knew that I was cool, but I didn't know if other people knew that I was cool. I mean, some things are pretty obvious, but some people are pretty block headed. So my concern at the time was that the two things might cancel each other out. Then I bought this radio and it not only affirmed that I have really good taste, but also that style and quality are fully compatible. When you think about it, you will see why I started to feel so much better about myself. But you don't need to think about it. I'll just tell you what you should conclude: I'm stylish and I'm awesome, like this radio that I bought. One negative point you should be aware of is that I don't have a purplish backlight behind my dial. But, and this is important, my radio does. Also, I don't have the ability to interface with electronic devices...but why would I want that--probably causes cancer or some such. And yet, my radio is cancer free and regularly plugs in to my phone, my computer, and my 1996 ipod (I was always an early adopter)I could tell you about the high quality sound, but would someone as discerning as I am buy a product that they hadn't researched? I mean really. I researched the hell out of my radio purchase, and this was highly recommended. Consider it more than highly recommended, because I am now recommending it to you.
