This is not a children's book, despite the cartoony look, nothing inappropriate, just they won't get the joke. My five year old (an avid Star Wars fan) loves the pictures but he's not old enough to appreciate the pure geeky awesomeness of these books. The same goes for non-Star Wars fans (i.e. you don't have the original trilogy memorized) and people who don't have much experience with kids: you can enjoy these books but you won't love them, however if you love Star Wars and have anything to do with children (especially your own), this book is amazing! Who knew the most sinister man in a galaxy far, far away had the same frustrating and heartwarming experiences that we go through in our own (seemingly) more mundane galaxy? You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll want to binge watch George Lucas...maybe no one is that desperate but you'll at least want to curl up and watch the classic movies with your own 'pitiful rebel band,' after all, we must 'pass on what we have learned,' right?

We received “Good Night Darth Vader” as a baby shower gift months ago. I immediately loved the book so I decide to order the other 2. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed with the poor writing this go around. When comparing it with the initial book the writing feel flat and lazy. I know it sounds harsh, but it really is that bad. The art is nice but overall it’s a huge let down 😞

I'd gotten this for my brand new daughter but it's chockful of spoilers. Love the art, the whimsical writing and the "what-ifs" but I don't want to take away the big reveal in Empire. Conflicted choice indeed.

Adorable family friendly content, but very funny for Star Wars fans

I bought this for my 4 y/o daughter. She enjoys Star Wars, and these books. The art work is in a children format, and even though a good bit of the puns are lost on children this young (she doesn't understand some of the "in the know" jokes) I thoroughly enjoy reading these to her and she sits through both laughing with me.

Purchased as a father's day gift for my SO who is a Vader fanatic and has a son & daughter. The stories are adorable and relatable. The prints are perfect for framing and look great on the wall. One note - prints are 7 x 7" and I couldn't find stock frames to fit. Getting custom frames were a bit more but worth it.

I got this as a Christmas gift for my husband from our 1-year old twins... he loved it! It’s not so much a story as it is like one page comics with funny and with references to the movies (or so my husband says, I didn’t know some of them but he seemed to know them all). We put it the books on my kids book shelf and plan to share it with them over the years at story time!

I got these for my husband for Father's Day. He loved them. They seem like a really fun way to get our child interested in reading. And the posters that came with this set are very cute!

Ho comprato questo cofanetto (in famiglia siamo tutti appassionati) per poter leggere qualche breve battuta in inglese al bambino di circa 3 anni. A lui piacciono moltissimo. Consiglio anche good night Darth Vader (il suo preferito per andare a nanna).

Hysterical satire based on Star Wars characters - wonderful way for kids and grandkids to connect to the nostalgia of the original Star Wars movies and laugh with their parents and grandparents.

Mi hermana y yo se lo regalamos a papa para el dia del Padre, y le encanto recordar nuestra infancia cuando nos llevaba a ver las peliculas de Star Wars.El libro tiene buenos acabados y la textura de la portada es fina. El contenido es ingenioso y los chistes son buenos.Lo recomiendo para chicos y grandes, la nostalgia de este tipo tiene buenos resultados.
