Amazon sizes are incorrect
I'm very bummed. I just ordered 5 of these last minute for my family to take on vacation and I scrolled through all of the colors to find the ones with the biggest dimensions (even if I didn't like the color). But, they all came and are all the same tiny size. Way too tiny to use as a towel. I see NOW in the detailed description that they are smaller, but why then is Amazon allowing you to select a much larger size that is incorrect?Otherwise, they are very nice and soft. The quality seems good, I just wish the size description was correct.

Where have you been all my life!
These towels are great! Not sure how I went half my life without them. Especially growing up in humid FL where it can feel like that musty towel smell is permanent. These do take some getting used to, but after a few uses I was hooked. They absorb water well, get softer after each wash, dry in no time and are really cute. Tip: soak them in water for a day before using. I wash everything before use so this was an easy step. It opens the fibers and speeds up the softening. Totally worth it.

Purchased in 2015 and still going strong.
I purchased this product in 2015 and it is still in regular rotation. It’s been used off and on for various tasks and has never let us down. I can’t believe how well it’s held up over the years. I just purchased a second one in another color and very hopeful that they haven’t changed factories or production or anything about this towel!

So much softer and better than ordinary terry cloth towels!
I purchased three of these hand towels for my bathroom, and they are so amazing that I now want to purchase a set of bath towels, too! First, for people who comment that these aren’t absorbant: they are! Just DO NOT use fabric softener! That’s the problem, since the fats used to make fabric softeners work will also repel water. And these towels are so incredibly soft that you absolutely do not need fabric softener, anyway (unlike terry cloth towels, which can feel crunchy and rough without it). When these first arrived, I washed them in a warm water cycle, with detergent and some vinegar in the softener compartment, then dried them on a medium/high setting. I measured them before and after washing, and detected no shrinkage.I’m finding that as I use them to dry my hands, they are drying MUCH faster than terry cloth towels would, so I’m not constantly drying my hands on a damp towel (yuck). And because they dry faster, I don’t feel that I need to change them out quite as often, since they don’t become as funky. ;) And as cheesy as this sounds, these are actually a pleasure to use! My college student son has also remarked about how crazy soft these are! I have a couple more that I’ve picked up over the years, but these are so much nicer and softer. If you’re looking for Turkish towels, I think these are the best you’ll find!

Best hair towel, no more blow drying needed!
This towel is great. I wrap my hair after showering and leave for about 20 mins and my hair is mostly dry. My hair use to take hours to dry on its own. It is not abrasive to the hair and it is not heavy on the head. I have a lot of long hair and I have no trouble getting all my hair wrapped in.

Not a viable alternative to traditional towels
Traditional cotton bathroom towels are bulky, take forever to dry after use, and cost a lot to launder. So, I looked into this as a possible alternative. Unfortunately, this style towel is best reserved for slightly damp situations, not wet. It takes a lot of hand wringing to dry your hands after washing them. However - the product is made well and is as described.

Great color, adds luxury to the guest bath
I bought the green, it’s a perfect leaf green. Very soft. I washed immediately but tighten those tassels first. Will get more absorbent. Looks so nice in the guest bath, much nicer than a terry towel.

How they look makes up for lack of other things......
I love how pretty these towels are. Very haute-bohemian if that means anything. Got them for when we lived in our RV and they never had that awful wet-towel smell which is why I got them. They dry pretty quickly, as well, especially if I hung them up outside. An hour or two in the shade and they dry. You are not going to have the same drying-the-body-off experience as a regular towel but for me it was worth it. I just worked a little harder to dry and I loved how large they were I could just wrap up in one while doing my hair, etc. They are VERY thin, but I like them this way. Again, they are so lovely to look at hanging up for me they are worth having. I use them only 3 minutes a day and then spend the rest of the time just admiring them so it’s worth it for me.

Best brand I've used for Turkish towels, recommended.
I have loads of these in different sizes. They really are surprisingly absorbent and dry very quickly. They don't take up much space if you are packing for a hospital stay or going away for the weekend or on holiday.Much easier to wrap around and knot over wet hair than a 'normal' towel and they don't get scratchier and harder with every wash either. Regulat towels may be temptingly fluffy when new but that never seems to last past the first couple of washes and they just aren't as absorbent.Depending on the size you buy they can also double up as a sarong or work well as an light 'blanket' in hot weather.I have found not all Turkish towels are made equal, having bought other brands I've found they are not always as soft or as absorbent so I tend to come back to Cacala as I know the quality will be good.

Attractive, Absorbent Towels that Dry Quickly
Fed up with damp, soggy hand towels in my kitchen since my Aga has had to be removed, I swapped my thick cotton towels for these finely-woven Turkish towels. These towels not only look good hanging in my kitchen, they are very absorbent and dry really quickly. They are supposed to be washed on a low temperature and line dried, but I accidentally put them in the machine on a hot wash with some tea towels and then tumble-dried them. Fortunately, they haven't shrunk or become misshapen, but I will try not abuse these towels again because they really are very nice and I'm even considering changing my thick bathroom towels to this type of finely-woven Turkish bath towel.5 Stars.

Cannot understand the good reviews about this type of towel
Absorbency? What absorbency? If I could give it zero stars I would. It's just like using a teatowel. (And I have followed all the laundering instructions to the letter.) They do dry quickly and are very compact and lightweight. But you might as well just stand about and wait to dry off naturally! I was looking at getting a microfibre towel for travelling, but was seduced by the good reviews for Turkish towels. What a mistake.

Brilliant travel towel.
Love this. Perfect, lightweight towel. Great for drying my hair, hands, face when travelling. Have also used it to dry my nephew after his bath.It does feel quite stiff and 'papery' when you first get it but after washing it is lovely and soft, and seems to get softer after each wash. Dries very quickly, so is perfect for travelling.I plan to buy a few more because I know they will get used often.

Good little towel - perhaps too lightweight to use without ironing for guest cloakroom
Very lightweight towels. I bought them to match with my cloakroom and they certainly do. Probably a bit too lightweight to be acceptable to Uk guests and they would be better for an iron. But they do the job really well for me!
