So Far So Good
I just received this stepper in the mail today. The first thing that I've learned about it is that it's all about controlled movement. In the gym the equipment is much more complex. On this stepper the idea is not to allow the peddles to touch the bottom bar. If you do this you will see that you can feel the pull in your calves and thighs. I know what steppers usually are supposed to do because I use them in the gym. I can feel the muscle workout on this and it's not a bad device at all. If the peddles are touching the floor that's because you're not doing it properly! I didn't notice much noise and I had great balance on this machine this was without utilizing the tension bands for the arms. Although the peddles could be a little wider apart it's still not a bad device. I'll report back after I've used it for a while to give a final determination and update progress. Due to the coronavirus there's a shelter in place order for my city. I can't go to the gym but this will keep me active until it is safe enough to go back. Not bad at all so far so good.

Good machine
Great machine. Instructions are ok. I already knew how to get this machine going out of the box . Instructions could be a lot clearer. My grip is the tension knob does not twist all the way in to get the tension as high as I want. Not sure what to do. I removed it after inserting and reinserted, but there’s still a little bit of gap I’d like to tighten all the way in to get the steps as high as I can . The resistance knob I received is not the exact same as in the listing. I received a round resistance knob rather than a triangle knob. Maybe that might have something to do with the knob not tightening as much as it should? Idk, seller if you can respond please.Overall, pretty easy to use and came with resistance bands which was unexpected. Thank you . I tested it for a few minutes and was tired, but I’m Not in shape yet lol

Really loud - squeaky
The instruction booklet was pretty non-helpful, but after much dinking around with it I was able to get it set up properly. It started off silent, but after 2 months of using it the stress-creaking is increasing and now I'm annoyed with the loud squeakyness of it.... I've tried to spray WD40 on all the joints, but it doesn't help. Even though I don't expect it to be silent, I would have thought, though, that it wouldn't be so loud and sound like it's going to break apart at any time. Note: I'm 135lbs, so I don't know if it would be quieter if someone was lighter or heavier. Either way, my return window has closed but I'm thinking I might want to order some other brand that will be sturdier.

Doesn’t look like photos, came with steps already walked for me!
Machine doesn’t look like photos, seems like an older version perhaps. There were no instructions in the box and the counter had 77 steps on it so it seems it must have been returned? I have no problem buying used equipment but not for full price. I’m still bummed about the instructions as well as I’m not sure how to get this going right.

Good but beware of possible issue
This product is of good quality, a fair price, and is good for leg exercise. I had one issue with it. It didn't work at all until I installed an approx. 2-inch bolt between the tension adjustment knob and the stepper mechanism to get it to adjust to a reasonable pressure. Now it works great.

Instructions unclear.
I have never used a product like this and the instructions are very unclear with many grammar errors. I can't use something if I don't know how. What are the rainbow colored straps that came in the little bag? Are the platforms only supposed to come up an inch?

Hard to balance if you're older.
I couldn't hold on to the elastic ropes and step at the same time, cause I kept losing my balance. I had to sit it by my dresser and hold on to the dresser for balance. Not for the elderly.

Noisy
Makes a ton of noise. Not much motion as well. Very small stairs to step. Other than that, it’s fine.
