Hard to put lens on

These are the perfect size and very easy to install. They look great and have lots of light.

I order 2 packages of 2 lights. One diffuser was cracked in 2 places. Contacted seller and they will not send a replacement, even though they strung me along and said they would.The lights are good, brightness is a little less than the 2 32-watt fluorescent bulb lights they replaced, but still good. They are narrow and barely don't cover the round ceiling electric boxes, but I put the uncovered portion, only 1/4 inch, on the inside where it is not visible.

These 4 foot ceiling fixtures are seriously bright! Curious that one reviewer says they're net as bright as dual 4ft fluorescents. I find them brighter. They throw some light nicely to the sides as well as down. I set them in same locations as the old lights, from 7 to 9 feet apart side to side and they fully light the areas much brighter than before. The metal housing is pretty chintzy, but I suppose it doesn’t need to be real stiff. It’s so light weight that strength for hanging is not that important. Once in place they look good and you don’t need to think about the construction anymore! Hey, they just don’t make things like they used to, right? Then again they didn’t have high efficiency LED strips either. In my case I liked doing my own power connections rather than getting a corded version (I get to use up some of those old cutoff power cords that hang around for years). I bought 12 to replace all my old, flickering dual 4 ft fluorescents in the basement areas. I liked them enough to order 4 more for additional spots and a couple spares.

Love these lights. Very bright and energy efficient over the florescent lights they replaced. No more changing glass bulbs. I replaced one in the wash room and 3 in the garage and these lights make quite the difference in brightness. I would have given them 5 stars, but the plastic cover was poorly designed. While on the ground, you must carefully bend the metal in order for the cover to fit properly. It just makes it easier while on the ladder. Most florescent lights of this type, the lens snap in on the outside of the metal. Not these, they snap in on the inside track, which risks cracking the delicate plastic. Also, I read people complaining about visible wires. I don't understand this, because as you can see by my photos, you can not see the wiring. The wires are in the box and the pig tail off the lights are encased in a white vinyl sheath. Overall, I would buy these again.

I recently purchased 4 Antlux 4 Foot LED Wraparound 40-Watt Light fixtures for the purpose of upgrading the lighting in my home shop. When I opened and unpacked the box, the first thing I noticed was how well these lighting fixtures were made. I was really impressed … especially for the price I paid. The metal was much heavier than I expected and the acrylic diffusers were the type you normally see in offices and retail stores. The installation instructions were straight forward and very easy to follow. It didn’t take long at all to install all 4 lights. Also, these LED lighting fixtures are significantly brighter than the original 40-watt fluorescent fixtures that I replaced and they are much more efficient. I am very pleased with these lighting fixtures and the results they provided. This product was exactly as described. I will definitely pass the information about these lights onto my friends for their use in upgrading their lighting. This is a quality product!

These were a good upgrade from my failing fluorescent light fixtures in my garage, and much brighter. The fixtures are very light and easy to install by yourself.A couple things to beware - The screws that came with the lights are a bit too small for the install holes on the fixture, so they easily push through the other side when screwing them in. I found it easier to use some screws with a bigger head I had laying around. The acrylic cover is very cheap and fragile, and when installing they crack very easily. My last gripe is that you can see the wires through the acrylic cover after everything is installed. This looks really bad. It would be nice if there were an additional cover or something to hide those.Overall though, at $20/fixture, I can't really complain. They are a nice upgrade from the lights I had.
