The Refined Feline Curved Shape Kitty Ball Cat Bed with Soft Washable Cushion, Scratch Proof Poly Rattan Bed for Cats and Kittens

My cat is pretty picky and so am I; needless to say, it's often hard to find things for him that are attractive to the eye that he will actually use. As soon as I set him in this, though, he immediately turned around in a couple circles on the cushion and then lay down, curled up in a ball, and fell asleep. I've had it for three days now and he spends all his free time in it. Not only is it high quality and looks great, my cat loves it as much as I do. My only complaints are it has a slight chemical smell out of the box (but nothing air freshener can't clear up) and that the ball portion is only held to the stand portion by a single large screw so it is slightly shaky. Overall I am very satisfied; this product is worth the price.

The Kitty Ball Bed is a very attractive cat bed. It's very easy to assemble. My cats do use it, but not as much as I'd hoped. I think the issue is the rattan material is a little wobbly, and I don't think my cats like that. The cushion is okay... could be a little bigger. I wrapped the cushion in a throw blanket to make it a little bigger and softer. It's not my cats' favorite bed, but they do still use it and it's attractive so I'm still happy with my purchase.Edit 4/7/19: Upgraded to 5 stars. After my cats got used to it (and the rattan being slightly wobbly) - they really like it! I also found a larger "doughnut" style bed that the cushion included with the Kitty Ball Bed fits in. Now It's a big hit with my boys and often all 3 of them will try to cram into it all at once.

This cat bed is accurately described and a nice piece of wicker furniture in which ever room you choose to keep it in. Also, the assembly was super easy. Unfortunately, my cat prefers my office chair to any other piece of furniture so this lovely cat bed has sat empty since the day it arrived. But I still feel the product deserves 5 Stars since it is a nice cat bed, sturdy and arrived quickly. Plus, this is the fourth bed I have purchased for her so It is hardly RefinedKind Pet Products fault my cat would rather steal my chair. Apparently, the fifth "cat bed" I purchase, will be an additional office chair. Either she'll accept the new one or keep mine and I'll use the new chair. Spoiled cat, but she's a sweetie.

I bought a "used"/manufacturer damaged one at a discount and can't complain. The slight cosmetic damage is not visible and my cats love it. It did take a while to warm up to it but now it is being claimed in changing order by two of my furballs. The cushion detach it for easy cleaning and attaches to keep in place. Assembly is super easy with 2 pieces. The material is good quality and easy to vacuum off. It looks like furniture and I like it. Easily integrates with your living room style without sticking out like sore thumb. It is hip height and light.

It only took a few minutes for our massive Maine Coon to figure out that this was her new throne. We've had an ongoing issue with cat toys and beds that just aren't large or strong enough for our girls - they're not overweight, but naturally large cats and extremely strong. I was concerned about the opening and the sleeping space inside because Maggie is quite large. (Picture a normal 2 x 3 kitchen rug for scale - she takes up the entire thing napping.)We find that the cushion inside is under-sized, but fixed the issue by folding her quilt and using it to line this bed. It's nice and low, so she can just step up and in. She's 9, so I wanted something senior cat friendly.It's a very nice-looking piece, and looks much nicer in our living room than her old bed. I'm a little concerned that the wicker will become a scratching post and not hold up, but time will tell.

Beyond happy with my purchase . After reading reviews , I was a bit spetical, but not enough for me not to make this purchase. Some reviews read , that the purchasers cats , didn't seem to immediately seem interested in the bed. This was not so with my feline , as you can tell , she was already liking her new bed before I could put it together , by the was an easy task , tool was included ! Thank you for making such a beautiful cat bed , that not only did my cat like from the time I took it out of the box , but goes so well with home decor ! One more piece of info , I feel is a must to share , after reading reviews , about the size of the pillow , I found the pillow , was a perfect fit for this bed . ~ one happy fur baby mama

This looked like the best kitty ball bed so I gave it a shot. A tad over three weeks and $20 in fees later it was back in the box being returned. I saw my kitten get in it on her own just once. I placed both my cats into it and even added cat nip but neither cats were at all interested. They did have a ball in the empty box the the bed came in, however. Pardon the pun.As all cats are different, my rating is for the product itself and not the fact that my cats didn't like it or that the return price was $20.The bed is very good looking but I expected that it would be taller. The wicker used on the bed is heavy and well made. The bolt that connects the ball to the base, not so much. Even had the cats liked the bed I expect that I would have had to rig a new bolt on it eventually. I could feel the thread slipping when I tightened it well; cheesy materials.The reason I think my cats didn't like it was that the wicker stand moves. With my 12 pound Abyssinian placed in it I could see it sway as he walked around. This was not the bolt, the bolt was tight enough. It was just that the wicker itself moves and that instability is my guess as to why it was a bomb with both cats (who are usually into everything.)The round mat/pad that comes with it is worthless. Even my four pound Singapura kitten would not have found it big enough. I put a big folded towel on top of it, both to make it more comfy for them and to keep it clean in case the bed was getting returned. Even if your cat likes it, you will need to put something other than the supplied pad in there.

My cat loves this bed and uses it all the time. I looked for a long time for a bed that looks nice with my decor. High quality ... lovely!

This cat bed will be perfect !After reading the reviews ( especially from maine coon customers) , I was keeping a close eye on this product. I'm currently on a list for a 2 maine coons and seen this product go from 10 to 1 left. ... I had to have it, so purchased instantly... i'm sure my kittens will love this, looks so comfortable and a decent size . Hopefully this product will come back into stock, so i can purchase another one for when they get bigger.

My cat didn't like this at first, it took some getting use to, now I can't get him out off it. Its really steady worth the money. The only down side is its heavy but other than that its perfect for my fur baby

Really nice piece. Cat(s) were a little hesitant at first but one loves it now. Looks fairly decent in living room. The only negative is the round part moves a bit when cat first jumps in. Would have liked it to be just a bit more solid. Perhaps I didn't tighten screw in enough...

My cat won't go near this unless I leave a worn shirt of mine in this then she will sleep in it, If I remove my clothing she won't go near this . Its expensive looking and doesn't look cheap
