2002 Tahoe LT 4x4 Flex - Crankshaft Position Relearn
Awesome! I replaced the Crankshaft Position sensor in my Tahoe. Repair shops in my area wanted $100-$120 to do a Crankshaft relearn, and they wanted me to leave the Tahoe for hours/all day. For a few more bucks, bought the NT530. Within 2 minutes I had completed the relearn. Probably closer to a minute and a half - but who would believe that? No loss of hours/all day leaving my Tahoe at a shop! I look forward to learning what else the NT530 can do, and adding the Nissan card for the wife’s car. Very happy with the NT530, it basically paid for itself with one use! Symptoms - Tahoe was acting like the fuel check valve (which is a part of the original fuel pump) had failed:; with 275k miles, this would have been understandable; decided to change the original Crankshaft Position Sensor before dropping the fuel tank. Good thing I did…! After doing the relearn procedure, the Tahoe cranks like new again. Do I sound happy? Well, I am…
