The item was delivered very quickly (before the expected date) and as ordered.We bought this to replace an existing Braun in-ear thermometer that has served us well over the last 18 years and still working. We chose Braun for the reputation, reliability and the fact that it is no touch forehead thermometer. which allows the temperature to be taken easily.The item is as described and as ordered. Supplied instructions are precise and clear. Batteries are also included to allow the thermometer to be used on delivery.Temperature can be taken in seconds with the added advantage to no touch with a light beam to help you aim the thermometer. Does not require additional purchase of covers like hose used on in ear thermometers. The temperature range is colour coded, with red for very high which is a very quick alert.It can also be used to measure the temperature of liquids.I would highly recommend this thermometer from our experience

Easy to use, although does occasionally give strange readings, have to do multiple times to feel confident with the result

I've been testing this item for a few weeks, and I must say, the thermometer can be off by quite a bit compared to the in ear ones. On one occasion I saw it said 34.7 degrees for my wife while the in ear says she had a temperature of 38.2 degrees. I didn't expect it would be off by that much, can't recommend this thermometer. (Also couldn't return it in time as Amazon UK didn't provide a pre-paid return label so would have to take time off to go to the post office.)

Oh my gosh this is much quicker and easier than the probe types to get an accurate reading. The no touch is a bit of a faff with a 1yo so you just place it on the forehead between the eyebrows and in 2 seconds you get a reading. Saw they used Braun in the nursery where they were telling us our child had a temperature, while our previous thermometers weren't. So now we can quickly check without much drama before dropping them off in the morning. Bit pricey for what it is but, it's good quality and should last a lifetime.

Great for checking temperatures when kids are sleeping. There's a button on the side which turns off the beep. It's not cheap but the quality is good and it is very accurate.

Easyness of use. Good reviews. Respected manufacturer. When you have a child or new born it is really important to have acuarate temp and to know and understand if meds are working. Few degrees high or temp not going down despite the meds time for drs or hosp.

I like it. Gives you brief instruction how to use though. Bit gimmicky in the begining due to the amount of different settings, but found it very accurate.
