This is a great addition to my Kubota BX series tractor. I’m using four 42# suitcase weights which has provided the proper counterweight system needed for this sub-compact tractor. It’s great to be able to hook up a towed device without having to pull everything apart.

The so-called 2" receiver is quite a bit larger, which adds a lot of slop to the connection. But otherwise it's solid and it works. I can fit 4 MTD-style suitcase weights, and with a short length of 2" square steel tube I made an adapter so I can use any Impact Impliments Pro-series tool on my garden tractor. The ability to put suitcase weights on the rake really let it dig in, and make clearing brush a breeze.I would have rated it much better if they could have put the extra effort to make it a snug-fitting 2" receiver.

The media could not be loaded. Returned. This thing is really bad. Don’t buy this. I posted a video of the problems. Firstly the 2” hitch isn’t a 2” hitch. It’s 2.25” so your hitch just kind of rattles around inside of it. This is supposed to be Class III, which is a standard set of sizes. They clearly didn’t even try to meet that standard. It looks like they welded these together with whatever random scrap metal was laying around the garage and said “well, that’s kinda close”. The metal is very light gauge, much lighter than what you typically see with other Class III products even from cheap manufacturers. The item looked like it was packaged by someone that straight up didn’t care. No effort was made to protect the part at all and the box totally failed by the time it got here as a result. Worst of all, this is supposed to be a “good one”, it’s priced $40 more than other Cat 0 hitches. The specs on this whole thing were straight up misleading to the point of false and now I have to waste my lunch break tomorrow going to the UPS store to return it.This product and the specs the listed in the description are so far off it should be pulled from Amazon as fraudulent.

So this hitch is built to the hilt. I love how sturdy and heavy it is. I gave it 3 stars due to the fact I had to immediately work on it before I could even install it on my tractor. The nuts that the lower pins thread into are welded to the end plate, and then the end plate is welded to the bottom tube. Unfortunately on one side, there was a small amount of weld spatter that was just outside of the nut. When I tried to thread in the lower pin, it immediately caught the threads as I was turning and began to strip the thread on the pin. Luckily, I was able to use a file and a small grinding drum on my dremel to grind down the spatter just enough to get the bolt to thread in. Unfortunately, it still stripped the threads partially, but I was able to get it to thread all the way in. Considering I never plan to take the pins out, I’m not going to pursue a replacement. However, I would think that a competent QC department would have caught this before being sent to the shelf to await being sold.All in all, I’m happy with the hitch. But if you’re going to purchase, be aware before threading in your pins.

I was able to flip it around to have the receiver part towards the tractor and hang the weights on the inside with out any clearance issues.
