Its nice, could be a heavier metal gage but still a good value for the money.

Adds a beautiful decoration to the house, adds comfort and warmth when your outside the only drawback is putting out the fire or embers. There’s no cover to extinguish the coals. I don’t want to use water, due to the danger of very hot steam and smoke then there’s the issue of rust starting to develop and a pan of water soaked coals to empty. Create a lid with a handle to cover the fire when your ready to end your night.

Disliked that it is damaged in shipment plus the inconvenience it presents! It is very heavy and to get it back into the shipping container is going to be difficult! We are not happy campers!!Dennis was able to correct the damage done in shipment and it is a beautiful item again!So, we are happy campers!

I have been searching for exactly this for a long time. Had one similar that lasted over a decade. It's something different than the other neighbors have and beautiful as a fire pit and looks great on our patio. It's tall, elegant, great quality. The doors open so that you can make s'mores easily and add wood as needed. We get so many compliments on this!

The fireplace arrived with a dent in it and a big chunk of the ceramic tile was missing. I contacted Amazon and they told me that if I didn't return it they would refund me half of the purchase price - which I'm sorry I did. First it was a nightmare to assemble. Next I’ve had it for 4 months and the coating is peeling off with the metal being totally rusted underneath. Apparently it was already rusted when they coated it. It is cheaply made and a total piece of junk.

When it arrived the box looked like it was dropped from a airplane. After unpacking it I was amazed to find that it was all there and the only serious damage was broken tiles and the "poker" was also broken. I decided it was easier for me to replace the tiles and fix the "poker" than to attempt to return it and get another.The fireplace itself was relatively easy to assemble, the instructions were adequate, it took me about an hour working by myself. We've had one fire in it since we got it assembled. The fire burned well, the smoke did exit the chimney well above everyone's head. All in all I am pleased with the fireplace and would recommend it.

We modified this unit to be dual fuel....wood and lpg.The changeover time is approx 10-15 mins.Enjoying LPG better as it doesn't produce embers etc.
