So many months later and it’s still my favorite thermometer I’ve ever owned. I wish I would have bought this 4 years ago instead of suffering those long sleepless nights trying to take accurate temperature of my sick child with thermometers that never read correctly. This one is ALWAYS on point. I keep the plastic disposable cover on and always use the same one unless I’m using it on another family member or the one on the thermometer gets damaged. Save money that way. You have to keep it for accurate results, because it’s made to read the temperature with the disposable cover on. Use is easy peasy, and I purposely bought this one also because I HATE trying to mess with thermometers that don’t have a lighted screen for night reading!!!! Don’t waste money buying a sucky one every year, get this one. This one only reads the ear though, so for very young babies that requires rectal, you can’t use it.

Works better than forehead thermometer for accuracy. Reads up to 1° higher, which can be the difference between fever or no fever. Easy to read color coded light out put - blue for low(did not get a reading), green for normal, red to indicate fever - with number read out of course.Comes with 81 disposable filter covers and batteries included.

Works great and is easy to use. It came with plenty of the little covers to use and then just toss. The case in came in is great because it holds the thermometer and the covers so you they don’t get lost!

I now have 5 stinking thermometers including a lower cost Braun ones and a totally useless ear / forehead one from Costco. This one is the best. Most accurate by far. One of the other ones I recently got was a cheaper Braun one, to replace a Braun I had used for ten+ years reliably til it died. The new lower cost braun told me my temp was 105 multiple times over two days .. and while I WAS sick, I didn’t feel thaaat bad. I ordered this one for same day delivery out of frustration. This one gave a much lower reading (high 102) as did a traditional cheapie under the tongue one that I also got. But those are hard to use on kids. And some adults 😂. anyways .. Spend the extra and go for this version if you’re on the fence. Don’t waste your money like I did on the cheaper brauns.

The media could not be loaded. The Braun Thermoscan6 thermometer lives up to the brand’s reputation for quality. All of my previous Braun thermometers have been reliable, and this one is no exception. The thermometer features a colored display that shows red for fever, orange for a higher temperature, and green for a normal reading, which is a cool and easy way to interpret the results at a glance.However, while the colored display is a nice feature, it does present a challenge when taking a child’s temperature in a dark room. The display is located on top of the thermometer, and it shines directly into your eyes, which can be quite intense and makes it difficult to see anything else. This becomes especially problematic when trying to navigate the thermometer’s tip into the ear canal in low light.A suggestion for improvement would be to dim the display, have the display light up only after the measurement is taken or to add a small light at the tip to help guide the thermometer into place without blinding you in the process.Overall, this is a great thermometer, but the display could use a bit of fine-tuning for nighttime use. The older model, with its regular display, was much better in this regard. But of course, it’s my subjective opinion, and others might not have a problem with that.

We’ve been using an ear thermometer for years and years and it was time for a new one. This product did not disappoint. Works quickly and barely needed to review the instructions since it’s so simple to use. The price on Amazon was better than Target or other Big Box pharmacy’s.

This thing is awesome!At first I tried an Amazon-popular and well reviewed no-touch--the kind of cheap, weird brand stuff Amazon seems to thrive on these days. Readings were wildly inconsistent no matter what I did. 93.5, 98.2 etc. Totally unreliable. Returned.Then I got the Braun.Yesterday morning, it said my temp was 97.3. A little later, my doctor tested my temp by mouth to be 97.2, and an hour later a nurse tested by mouth at 97.4. I'd say the Braun was dead on! Day to day readings have also been pretty consistent.It's fast, it's easy and it's reliable. The only things it's not is the kind of cheap no-brand you have to wade through to find it.
