This thing is amazing
First off this top looks amazing! Bought it to replace the faded top that was on my jeep when I bought it.It was packaged compact but the box it showed up in was mangled. Luckily all contents were safe and sound.I was a little nervous to pull the trigger after seeing a lot of issues with the rear zipper, but it gave me no trouble at all!I’m fairly mechanically inclined and it took me about 40 minutes to install including removing the old top.It fits great, looks great and installed great. Zero complaints especially for the price. Will be buying again if I need to!It makes noise on the highway but all soft tops do… get a hard top if you don’t want noise, it’s a Jeep.. sheesh people…

Great fit
The top was very easy to put on. Installed by myself. The old top was harder to remove. Be sure to let top get warm to install. This makes it easier to manipulate. Replace screws at windshield with stainless steel screws. Top will tighten up overnight as it cools down. Take your time and be careful not to scratch windows. I installed zipper pulls to make it easier to zip windows in. Found no quality defects, built well. Sound quality and noise normal for a soft top. Heavy duty zippers and heavy duty Velcro are a plus. Looks great on my 1999 wrangler. Price , quality and fit is a 5 star. Durability is to be determined. Material looks to be better than I expected.

Looks Great!
Purchased new "open box" top for a slight discount. Was a bit concerned because description said item was new, but box was damaged. Shipper must have repackaged, because the box was fine. The top itself is great! No issues putting on an 03. Actually very easy in colder weather too! Took less than an hour. Great quality for price. Replaced oem top which was an eyesore after 83000 miles ;) Not that much thinner than oem and really no difference in noise during ride. Tight fit, definitely not worried about leaks when it rains or snows. The zippers and Velcro are great quality. I read some reviews that said they were cheap and broke, but we definitely tugged at zipper hard to get back window zipped in and didn't feel like the zipper was weak at all. The tint is awsome too. Not too dark or too light. It's so nice to have a clear uncracked, unweatbered back window now.... I can see ;) Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the quality for the price. If you can't afford pricier top,or are on a budget, you can't go wrong with this top. With the price, if it needs to be replaced after a few ungaraged seasons (if Jeep is still operational by then) I won't feel like I didn't get my money's worth :)

Great Budget Top
For the money is really have no complaints. My factory soft top is a bit thicker as far as the fabric goes. Also, the windows are a tad bit thinner but not by much. I was mainly happy to have clear unscratched windows for once. I bought my 2005 TJ used everything was in mint condition except for the top and plus it was grey. Which seemed kinda odd for a white TJ.The Pavement Ends top is thinner but not in a cheap kinda way. The fabric is different. Installation took under an hour. I did let the top bake in the 90deg heat for an hour which made the top super easy to work with. The longest part of the install was removing all the screws from the old top. The pavement ends top did fit looser on the front and doors. Which does cause more noise than the OEM top but only at freeway speeds. I took my jeep on a two hour trip for camping going mostly 80 - 100mph the noise is not that bad. If it a lot of city driving you'll be doing under 50mph hardly any noise. For me the greatest aspect was that this top didn't leak. I had it parked outside during two days of heavy Pacific Northwest rain and interior was completely dry.For the money this is a great top.

Very satisfied!
After reading reviews for this top, and other less expensive tops, I went with a Bestop for my 2004 Jeep Wrangler. Product arrived neatly packaged, with very specific instructions (that were correct!). I'm 71 years old, and foolishly decided to install by myself. I did succeed, but it took me longer than the 45 minutes other people have quoted. Biggest problem is that you really need to be strong, because the top is designed to be stretched over the framing of the top, and that required a lot of strength. But I was able to install, and the tightness pays off in the top not flapping and making noises. I've had no leaks after two weeks, and it's been like a monsoon in southern Florida the last few days. Several reviews have mentioned that the rear window needs to be a little bigger, but I believe it has to be tight to assure no flapping. My only concern is that I like to take the top off when there's a string of predicted good weather here. I don't know if I have the strength to put the top on again, and am hoping that having been stretched some after installation, it will be a little easier the second (and third) time I have to reinstall. But I am very happy with this product.

Mediocre Quality Zippers
Rear window very difficult to zip completely. Zippers are not as beefy as original. Was going to return, but although it states free return there was not an option of drop off point unless I paid shipping

Great top for the money!!!
I decided to purchase this Pavement Ends by Bestop to bring new life to my daughter’s 2000 Jeep Wrangler TJ. I was on the fence with Smittybilt vs. Bestop. After reading several reviews I went with Pavement Ends mainly because it is the top that was used when theJeep was new (Bestop). The top installation was painless. I let the top sit out in the driveway while I took the old top off. This allowed the top to stretch a little easier for installation. Take your time and have a helper handy, especially when it comes to putting the windows in. I am impressed with how snug the top is and how great the tinted windows look. The most time consuming part of the installation was taking out the screws that hold the top to the windshield bracket. Mine were rusted and broke off, so I had to drill new holes and use new screws. This is a very simple project that will make your Jeep look great!
