I bought a nice LED ceiling fixture for my hallway to replace a square, recessed, built-in light. I did not want to reframe the 10x10 inch hole in the ceiling and replace it with a proper junction box.My new fixture is large enough to fit over and hide the hole in the ceiling. I used this adapter to just plug into the light socket from the old fixture and then attached the new fixture to the ceiling with a couple of mollies.The plug and socket arrangement of this adapter allowed me to wire one end to the new fixture and the other to the old light socket. Then it was merely a plug and play while mounting. No need to hold the new fixture in one hand and try to manipulate the wire nuts with the other.Simple but effective upgrade.

Used these adapters to convert existing ceiling cans to track fixtures. So much easier and quicker than cutting the old socket wires and splicing them to the new track power supply.

Needed the female connectors beclouded our new house (built 2019) has them wired throughout and I didn’t want to cut it off. I didn’t need the bulb part but it looked pretty solid.I was able to hang my pendants!

I was replacing my old pot lights with flat LED's and did not wish to take everything out of the ceiling to do so. Using these pigtails I was able to screw them into the existing socket and with them in. I just made sure I also ran a grounding wire and screwed it into the old pot light housing.
