Didn’t keep a charge

Perfect for downloading photos off my computer without a long cord getting in my way and great for travel for the same reason for the iPhones, etc. Use it to charge items quickly without long cords cluttering up our counter space.

After having my phone's battery completely whacked out by a cheap third-party (a known problem and hence why cheaper isn't always better), I went online looking for a more affordable option than Apple's expensive lightning cords.I was a bit torn in trying to decide between a 10 ft and a normal 6 ft cord as I'm horrible visualizing distance and 10 ft just seemed like a lot of cordage. However, when it arrived in the mail and I actually started to use the cord...10 feet was amazing! It's the perfect distance from my wall out to my bed; I can now lay in bed and surf the net, watch youtube, and stream netflix without having to awkwardly position myself half off the mattress and my hand hanging off the edge just to get some slack in my charging cord. It's also the perfect length to plug into the wall outlet in the living room and lay down on the couch...even my roommate complimented the length when I left it plugged in over the weekend and she found her battery low while binge watching.The rose gold color is gorgeous. A very soft and luxe color with no scratches on the metal or frays on the cord. The cord is thick and hefty, kinks don't leave a permanent bend and its heavy enough to usually stretch out flat and not curl up on itself like the smaller Apple ones do.Definitely satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend!

I used this for a few months before the lightning connector end frayed and started cracking like other reviews stated (see photos). I tried using some electrical tape to keep it together but it rarely can make a connection to charge. I will note I have a toddler at home who likes to grab the iPad occasionally while it's still connected and pulls it until the charging cable disconnects, however, he's done this as well with the original Apple lighting cables and they are still holding up without damage. I feel the sturdiness of the braided cable itself makes it easier for breaks to occur at the plastic weak points because the cable itself is not as flexible. The rigidity was also a slight annoyance with the 10ft cable because it kinked a lot making it difficult to unravel all the way for use or wrap up for storage. I bought several of these cables, so I'm using my second one now and it has lasted thus far for about 9 months but I don't use it as often as my OEM cables. I'm still giving it 3 stars despite the issues because the second one is still working with a little more caution. And for the price, it held up pretty well and seems well made compared to another 10ft non-braided non-Apple charging cable I bought previously. Lastly, just a note for Otterbox Preserver users, the cable barely fits into the charge port with some force which then makes it very difficult to pull out so I wouldn't recommend this with that particular case.

I recently converted to an all Mac/apple user with a MacBook Pro, an iPhone, and an iPad. Since getting my new portable devices (iPhone and iPad) JUST WITHIN a few months of my product purchases, I always plug in the portable ones to the MacBook for charging and for syncing. I rarely and almost never use the wall outlet to charge since I need a consistent syncing anyways.I also own a fully tech car with USB ports to charge and play music. As you can imagine I need to use at least 2 lightening cables at a time for both devices but I'd prefer four at a time to have two in my car and two at home for road trips and to compensate for my poor memory in case I forget to grab them.Just within 4 months I have gone through at least a dozen of these charging cables including the original Apple ones and extremely overpriced one . EVERY single one either broke (exposing the wires due to their poor external construction which then led to the wires being ripped up) or did not work at all.This product is absolutely PHENOMENAL in its construction as it is extremely durable and well built in that regardless of how the device is angled, it does not bend or break. I don't even think it's capable of it since it seems like it's built with metal external construction. I purchased one to test it out but I will definitely place an order for at least 3 more of different lengths!!

Thank you————————-Original Post:I received this cord inn February 25, 2017. I use it next to my bed to charge my iPhone at night. I do not travel with it or take it work, etc... I am very careful with my iPhone cords because in the past I had had cords that become loose at the site when the cord attaches to the plastic end.I notice two days ago, April 28, 2017, that my phone stopped charging. Not sure what the problem was, I noticed tonight the prong that actually inserts into your phone has become loose.I am very disappointed in the lack of dependable quality. I paid a higher price for what I thought would be a more durable item. Instead, it lasted just two short months. I would not recommend this product.

This is an incredibly durable charging cable! I have a five year old, and so many Apple charging cables have been consistently destroyed in our home- it felt like we were just leaking money into flimsy cords. I was nervous purchasing this without seeing it in person, but it arrived exactly as pictured and has proven to be virtually unbreakable after many uses.I appreciate the ample length as our electrical outlets aren't all close to where we want to use our electronics. For example, my daughter likes to have the iPad in her bed, but the closest outlet was too far away for our previous charging cords to reach, which meant she couldn't use it while charging. My laptop doesn't work unless it's plugged in, and this cord allows me to do that while sitting in a comfortable spot as opposed to close to the nearest outlet.I'm certainly going to purchase more of these. This is a VERY strong, very long charging cable - the two most important aspects of what I look for in such a product. Well worth it.

It says it’s 10 feet in length, but it’s only 4!! Also it came 5 days past the expected delivery date.

The cord is nice and thick and very long. It seems quite strong would last a while. However, I’ve had this for a while now and have found though that while it charged well initally, over time it has become temperamental. I have been using it with my offical apple charger plugs and it sometimes need to be reinserted into the charging port to get it to start charging again. I can plug it into the charging port and 2-3 minutes later it is not charging again, so have to reinsert it. My offical apple lighting cords have no issues, which suggest it isn’t the port on my ipad nor the mains plug but the charger cord itself. I am not rough with it so just assume this is how it is over time. I still use the cable, but just have to keep an eye on the charging more often.

Al principio que pedí este cable tenía mis dudas por que siempre Apple suele ser muy exigente y muchas veces tienes problemas con artículos ajenos a Apple.Sin embargo esta fue una sorpresa agradable al ver que se comporta igual que el original, además de tener un largo (el cable) más accesible para poder usarlo con más libertad .Me gusta que está tejido y esto hace que su durabilidad sea mucho mayor que el original que siempre termina "pelándose" de los extremos (anexo foto del original y del cable Lax) así que sin duda es una excelente compra si quieres tener algo igual al original por mucho menos dinero y algo que resaltar es que a pesar de su precio (que es excelente ) es que tiene MUCHA MÁS CALIDAD que el original y eso se nota a simple vista .Por último decir que tiene una pequeña correa de velcro que hace más fácil su almacenamiento y con ello evitar enredos .....Saludos

llego bien, lo he usado 1 semana y carga muy rapido, lo unico es que no puede transferir de itunes al cell, se traba y con cable de iphone no pasa, por eso 4 estrellas
