Great for immune system
For Amla powder, it tastes just fine. No amla is going to taste great- slightly bitter- so add a little sweetener. What’s great about Amla though is that I know it works. I got back from 3 weeks in Egypt and I forgot my Amla powder. I was sick with a cough/cold everyday for almost 2 weeks while there. I have been home now for 5 days and taking Amla every day, and no cough, feeling great every day since. I never get a cold when I regularly take Amla.

Like it
Good stuff. Can't really compare since I have not ever tasted Amla before. It is bitter and sour naturally. I use it as my vitamin C source and do notice that it can stave off some of my colds if I catch it on time. No complaints.

No complaints. Genuine product. Thanks.
It tastes like indian gooseberry. It is a lot for a good price. I just don't use a bag for powdered supplements. It gets messy. Good value.

Healthy addition to diet
I purchased the Amala fruit powder because I am diabetic and this is reported to help lower blood glucose. I use it along with my beet powder, spirolina, and pea protein as a pre-work out drink. The combination, honestly, does not taste very good due to there pea protein, but it does give me energy at the gym. Has it lowered my blood sugar? Not exactly sure, but it is a healthy addition to my diet so will definitely continue to use it.

Doctor recommended
I purchased this after a blood test that indicated pre-diabetes. My doctor recommended it. Indian gooseberry powder is supposed to be good for all kinds of ailments, and lower my A1-C. One teaspoon at night in a glass of water. You don’t buy this for the taste, just suck it up and drink it!

Bitter Taste Hard to Deal With
My rate selection is based on the horrible taste not the products results which are too early to judgeEvery night my husband and I try some new way of getting the powder inside us...water, tea, smoothy, cereal even peanut butter! The bitter taste is difficult but we won't stop taking it until we truly give it a chance to work. We are looking forward to the promised results after 3 months when our body has had the chance to absorb and be changed by the properties of the berry.

First purchase
This was my first purchase of Amla powder. It is, by nature, bitter tasting; but, I add a teaspoonful to my smoothies and it does not alter the taste. The powder I received is smooth and not at all gritty. The packaging could be improved, as the zip-type seal would not seal. Good value compared to the price I found in local stores. I recently ordered another brand, as this was not available when I needed to place a new order. Will try to compare later after I have had a chance to use the latest order.

Amazing powder
This is the best product to take Vit C in a smoothie that I have come across. It's great and I love that it blends right in with other fruits, yogurt and juices.
