The media could not be loaded.  I bought four sets of these to absorb sound and cut down on echos in a house with very tall ceilings. I hung them in a great room and in a dining room on “side” rods not intended to ever open or close because I don’t need them for privacy or to blackout the light. I cut the grommets off of one set and sewed those curtains onto the bottom of another pair to make an extra long pair (143”)—it’s much less expensive to do that, than to buy extra long curtains. The fabric is beautiful and heavy. As advertised, it is like a velvet. It is easy to sew and work with, except that working with the very long lengths was awkward and I had no surface large enough to work on, except to spread it out on the floor. I positioned the seams in a logical place for my windows and it looks like the curtains were planned to be made that way.I got these in teal—the color is a darker shade of teal and it happens to match my teal lamp shades and carpet perfectly. The teal also coordinates nicely with turquoise.The grommets are a shiny silver color—I was afraid that would not look good with my bronze-colored rods, but I think they look fine.I never had to iron these curtains. For some of them, the wrinkles just fell right out. For others, they are a bit wrinkled, but the dark color and heavy fabric seems to camouflage that and the wrinkles are not very noticeable.I have only a couple of complaints:They are not perfectly square or consistent lengths. As a result, I had to adjust the height of my curtain rods a bit, so that the curtains would rest at the floor the way I wanted them to.Also, the four sets of curtains that I purchased were made with slightly different fabric. Right out of the package, they looked a little different from each other. I was afraid that when I hung them (and especially when I sewed them together) that would be noticeable. But it’s not—they look fine when hung. The only difference is that the wrinkles fell right out of certain pairs, and others not so much. Certain slightly different fabrics must be better for releasing the wrinkles.I am very happy with these curtains and recommend them! The quality of the fabric is really nice. The finished project looks very nice and they add a lot of color to my otherwise very white walls. They also do help to cut down on the echos in this house with very high ceilings.I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be. These curtains look soo expensive and high-quality in person! The description says room darkening and that’s exactly what they are so don’t buy them thinking they are black out cause you’ll be disappointed. They are perfect for my baby’s room, makes the room nice and dark when closed, and looks amazing when open. If you’re in the fence buy them. I ended up swapping for longer ones because I didn’t measure correctly and the overnight shipping was awesome.

Love these curtains! They come wrinkled, as expected, but ironed out easily with some steam. They are soft, elegant, and drape beautifully. Not lined, but when paired over blinds do keep the light out nicely for such a light color. Great price too! Definitely recommend.

These are thick heavy duty curtains. They look and feel high end! The color is rich and the material is smooth. They are not sheer at all. I’m not sure if they are blackout curtains or not I can’t remember but they definitely keep my rooms cooler.. purchase them you wont be disappointed!

They look great and block out 98% of the light in my room. For the price, look, and quality they are a fabulous purchase. I choose the jeweled green and I'm thrilled, they are a traditional shade of deep green.

So lush and rich looking, have these curtains (different colors) throughout our home. Great addition to my music room!! Obsessed-buy them trust me-I’m very picky and I love them!

Lovely colour and look great draping on the floor. Block some light but not blackout.

Nous avons comparé le prix chez plusieurs autres magasins et ceux là coutent une fraction du prix de tout ce que nous avons observé ailleurs. Nous en avons acheté 4 paires pour un mur de 14,5 pieds. L'effet est très jolis, il y a peu de faux plis, la couleur est telle que montrée et ils sont opaques. Ma femme et moi sommes très satisfaits.

Nice curtains they look stunning at the window. They're not lined, ( I was aware of this prior to purchasing though,) so not fully black out. They took over a month to arrive, ( China to Canada)worth waiting for though.
