This stuff is AMAZING!
I've been professionally refinishing furniture for a very long time, and it is very rare that I come across a product. that actually does what it says. I was skeptical at 1st when I set out to seal my outdoor furniture after sanding it down to raw wood and then staining it. The thought of babysitting a spar varnish with multiple coats and sanding in between just did not sound like fun. A friend of mine suggested this product instead. And I have to say it is truly one of the most amazing products I've tried in a very long time. It goes on thick and you can see brush strokes initially (please look at the pictures I provided) but as it dries it turns perfectly clear no brush strokes whatsoever and no overbrush. it doesn't even have to be pretty going on. Because once it dries it's a perfect finish. I used it over an oil based stain and it did not alter the color at all. Definitely pay attention to the areas you have already covered because when applying over stain, once it has dried there is no way to tell what areas have already been covered. I have no idea if it will actually last 10 years as it states, but if I only got 5 years out of it it would be worth every penny so far. I'll update the review if anything changes with time. I hope this company is working on more products because the refinishing industry needs this!

Excellent Product.
I’m very pleased with this product. I used it on the gate to our fence in preparation of fall and winter. The sealer was easy to apply and dried perfectly as described. It had rained several days since and the gate still looks great.

Excellent but coverage incorrect
Works as an excellent sealant with almost no color change. The coverage is much larger than stated on the website. I got about 800 square feet out of one pail.

Easy to see and apply
Since it’s cream textured, it is so much easier to apply. Don’t worry about making a mess because it doesn’t drip. Even though it’s a cream, it dries very quickly and it dries completely clear, no haze in the color.I will definitely be buying this again when I need more. Worth the price because there is no spillage from a liquid sealant. Get it!

Great stuff! The ONLY waterproofing I will buy!
This stuff is great and easy to use, with no odor! I used it to seal my kid’s cedar play set and coated all boards individually before assembling. I leaned the boards up on my concrete drive way to dry and was surprised to find those spots on the driveway were waterproofed as well! I started applying with a foam brush, but quickly ditched that and just used 2 ply of rubber gloves. It glides on smoothly and dries completely clear with no “shiny” effects. It even made the color of the cedar appear deeper and richer! This is great stuff, my second time purchasing. Hands down, the best water sealer out there! Picture is to demonstrate how “hydrophobic” it is. Water just beads up on the surface and rolls off!

container problem
I haven't used it long enough to know how it is going to perform on my outdoor bench project. It goes on easily and soaks into the wood well. However, the top will not stay secured to the container. Tap it on and it seems well sealed. come back a few days later and the lid has popped off. I'd like to keep it as long as possible for other possible projects. The only good thing is it doesn't seem to dry out quickly. I just put the lid back on and clamp it down with weights.

This is good stuff!
I had a tricky project. Bought my wife a small sauna. It was an indoor sauna, but putting it outside under our lanai, here in Florida.Bought this to treat the wood (sauna is almost all wood), to preserve it better.I am impressed. Its been about a year now, and the unit still looks like new. Now its protected under a lanai roof, and it gets minimal direct sunlight. None the less, the unit looks like new. I didnt expect that. I thought it would wear and splinter, and fade/washout being an indoor unit. Very happy with the product and results.

So far, so good
I am refinishing our 10 year old deck (sanding down to new wood), and at 1000 sq. feet, it's a huge job. Needless to say, I don't want to have to do this again anytime soon. I hadn't planned on buying this initially. I had purchased a different product that doesn't seal / waterproof, but rather, changes the wood fibers so that they (supposedly) won't rot. It's a one-and done, lifetime product, or so they claim. The biggest drawback? It turns wood an ugly, weathered gray color almost immediately. You can add tint to the product, but the manufacturer specifically says you can't tint decks, and after a light rain, I realized why - the tint comes off. There's nothing to hold it in the wood pores, and when the water penetrates the wood on a horizontal surface, the tint starts coming off. That's where this product comes in. I'm applying it on top of the tinted product to slow down the color degradation. I applied it to about 250 sq. feet this morning, and so far, I'm impressed. The deck is now waterproof on top of being rot resistant, and water just beads right on the top. Better yet, the tint does seem to be holding up to water now. I'll be interested to see how long this lasts - 10 years is about the longest claim I've seen, so I'll be very satisfied if it actually lasts that long. Hoping for the best!
