Bought a $200.00 lamp with two of these types of switches. NOT THESE PARTICULAR ONES. The lamp's switches were terrible and failed in about 2 months. I put these in and NOW it feels like a high dollar lamp. These are extremely smooth. Easy to install.

Good choice for my application.
Fit the lamp I needed to repair. The only such replacement part available at Lowe’s was to big to fit.

Very easy to install. Works great. So much easier to turn off the lamp at night. The metal matches my silver lamps great. I think it would match most silver based lamps.
