This product has definitely been built for rough play: the components seem durable, well put together, and chosen thoughtfully. The spring pull as a tool is a great toy and exercise method overall for the right animal. However, make sure that when selecting which of the two springs to use, that your pet is not strong enough to completely extend the spring. Maxing out the springs can lead to breaks, as it did with my pet.I thought it would be wise to use the weaker spring until my dog realized what the toy did, this turned out to be quite the ignorant move as once he had figured out the springy-quality of the toy he managed to give it one tug hard enough to break the spring and it hit him in the face! Completely my fault, he is okay and has gotten over it and even loves the spring pull still to this day. But please learn from this so your animal doesn't have to go through the same thing.

My APBT LOVES THIS SPRING POLE. I DO AS WELL BECAUSE HE DOESN'T DESTROY THE OTHERS TOYS. HE PLAYS ON IT ALL DAY EVERYDAY.ONE WARNING I WOULD LIKE TO GET OUT.THE SPRING ITSELF HAS THE LITTLE PRONGS THAT COME OUT OF IT.MY BOY TWO SOCKS COLLAR GOT CAUGHT ON ONE OF THE PRONGS AND IF NOT FOR MY NEIGHBOR HE WOYKD OF HUNG.I WENT AND REPLACED WITH A MUCH STRONGER AND SAFER SPRING THAT DID NOT HAVE THE PRONGS.MY BOY IS 2 YEARS OLD AND 67 LBS OF SOLD MUSCLE.

This thing is so fun for my pup. He is 2 and loves to play tug of war. I take him to it outside when my arm and back just can't take the tugs. It took a few times to get use to it. Taking the rope toy and giving it to the dog to play wth in the house and with me for a while acclimated him to what to do with it when we hung it up.

As soon as I receive the traction rope, I can't wait to use it for my dog. The rope is really good. It's easy to walk the dog. I can't pull my hand when I'm forced. The length of the rope is also suitable. There's a protective cover for his spring hook, which won't hook the dog's hair. I've bought one with spring before. It's always easy to hang on the dog's hair. The tension of the rope is very strong .

Good toy, but the small spring broke after just two days of play. She doesn’t like the big spring as well as the small because there is no give to the big one. Also, when this broke, it flew off and hit her. No harm done, but as you can see, one end opened up and could have caused some serious eye or other damage.

I know my guy likes it. I like it because it forces him to want more and then hold his hand tightly again. If you have a little creativity, it will be very useful. I use it as a parabola and use a tie to rotate it to chase it!

Toy is big, rope is not long enough for a dog to run around the whole backyard but a reasonable length to have a dog tied I would say temporarily, everything came as described.

This a complete rip off. Both springs are completely inappropriate because one is too easily stretched and broken and the other is too strong and has no give. This ended up being a big waste of time, effort, and money.
