Purchased for scientists dressup at school, we look forward to Science time at home. We've done a mock-up volcano, and rainbow rain with oil, food coloring and water. The kids, 5 and 2, were super excited to watch the volcano; done in tall standing tube. They have enjoyed playing in the bath with some of the beakers and such. Highly recommended for 5+ as my little one wanted to do all the measuring and mixing himself.

Bought this for my 5 year old son who has a love for learning about anything and everything. He really loved dressing up as a scientist while we did some of the experiments listed in the enclosed pamphlet of the activity set.Although you will need additional things to do the projects, most of the items needed are things you can find around your house.These experiments help with teaching patience, taking turns, and following directions. Plus, all of the tools are cleanable and reusable so you can do your own experiments, outside of what the pamphlet includes.

I should have read the contents more carefully; this is just a set-up kit with a manual of possible 'experiments' that is very basic and difficult to understand (perhaps written by a non-native English speaker).The quality of the contents is fine; my little one loves the lab coat and ID badge. You just need to be able to think of some experiments on your own, which isn't hard, considering the Internet is filled with them. This is a great kit for "make believe," though.

Bought for my 5 year old, he loves it! Coat is a bit big but it’s fine with sleeves rolled up.

Very cute set! My boy loves it but when you wash the beakers in hot water, all of the measurements wash off.
