Nice wood and it appears very sturdy. Flag and medals look good. I would have given it 5 stars but I was a bit disappointed as you can't remove the fabric to attach the medals. For 80 bucks including tax I think it should have been manufactured within the box. Also the color of the Walnut wood is a bit deceiving in the Amazon picture. It looked one step lighter than my dark furniture. However, it just blends in so I placed a small runner underneath it. I teetered on returning it for the Oak but Oak may be too light.It is a nice cabinet and I would recommend it. Just be prepared to struggle with medals and choose the right color wood.

I initially purchased one of these elsewhere at twice the price. But the flag would not fit so I sent it back. This one is actually much nicer, and the 9.5 x 5' flag fit perfectly! Plus the other one had no internal padding so you had to drill holes to mount medals. This one has a foam type backing inside which makes it easy to poke the pins from medals into it to keep them in place. Also, the other one was like a picture frame that needed disassembly to install the interior items. This one is built like a case, so it has hinges on one side and a couple of latches on the other. Makes it extremely easy to put the items in, and then rearrange if you don't like how it looks. It also has a couple of metal hangars on the top rear corners so you can hang it on the wall. Great product, well made, looks fantastic, and a reasonable price. Definitely worthy of my Father's memory.

I was not expecting this quality if a product. I did read reviews and they were mostly positive so i figured i would go for it. Im so glad i did. What was really unexpected is that it locks!!! The cornwrs are put together nicely and not like some other one i saw that the corners were popping or offset. The wood is nice and sturdy. I can also hang it if i want to. This goes way above and beyond. I got this for my friend her husband passed away at 38 very suddenly and tragically so i wanted to make sure i got her something nice for his burial flag and pendants from tlhis time in the service and this definitely fit the bill. I had to do anlot of searching since a LOT of others similar would only fit a 3.5" flag. I would pay more money for this. Very happy.

The wood on this is beautiful, aligned well at corners, sturdy, nice clean glass and velvet interior. I love that this box is rectangular (instead of triangular as flag only cases), and has compartments for storing the flag and other items that honor the loved one. My husband and I gave this to the daughter of a deceased veteran in lieu of sending flowers. She will be able to keep this the rest of her life; long after flowers would be gone. She loves it!

A beautiful way to display my grandfather's casket flag and his medals. I had a hard time getting medals to stay in place. The flag space was perfect, held the flag as folded during ceremony. Was a wonderful gift for my mother.

Great Quality, Beautiful!! So worth the money. I viewed a similar product at a store after receiving this one. This one is Gorgeous, No Comparison!!! In every way!! And this one was cheaper. I realized I made a smart purchase. No regrets.
