Because of the small amount of space the o ring pops off. They use tiny tabs to hold it in but they dont work all that well. However the base material is metal and if you keep the o ring in place it makes a nice seal

Works on my 1987 xv700. They're as good as you'll get for this price. The vacuum tube pushed out while installing the vacuum line, but that's common on these cheap pieces of junk. They do seal and fit well. Use some epoxy or sealant on the vacuum tubes.

Fit perfectly on 1981 virago 750. Only reason for four not five. Is that they are quite stiff. Little tough to refit back in. But made of good material.

FITS AND WORKS AS ADVERTISED

The intake boots were made well, but the sealing rings were incorrect diameter and thickness.

The fuel line nipple was loose and slid out of the boot resulting in my bike running poorly. I reinstalled the old boots that I had intended to replace with these new ones and am able to ride my bike again.
