Well, the first time I used this mower the motor mounts broke. Yes, less than 30 minutes into it's first use. Tried to return it and the company requires you to pay shipping ($160) plus a restocking fee. So I got taken for the $350 I spent to purchase this mower.

At first was a great mower then the moter mount bolt fell out and it would self drive. We fixed that and it was great again. Last weekend my husband was mowing and it completely seized. The pull cord wont pull and the blade wont spin when you try to move it. Ordered June 12th Took forever to get in the first place was really happy untill it broke after the 3rd mow of my yard. Then my husband fixed it and it broke again. The cord froze then unfrozen and it started spitting oil and wont start. Waiting for response from company. Hopefully we can remedy the situation.

So motor runs.. slightly higher oil level was the issue .. still not sure id buy another one. Updated. Junk motor.. already blowing oil from the muffler indicating bad rings.. will not buy again do not waste your money.. Very disappointing...Mower looked good but front wheel mount was bent. Definitely not from shipping as box was undamaged. I'd say poor quality control. Worked as it should..fired up and worked as it should after I straightened out front wheel mount.

Don’t buy. Nothing but problems. Wanted me to pay to send back.

I received my gas lawn mower through amazon prime. Easy to assemble, light weight steel body. Since I have a large yard and difficult to mow, 1 1/2 tanks of gas per mow, I found this mower fast with a powerfull 173cc engine. Half the price of a Honda mower. It has steel control bars to run engine and self propelled system plus gas carburetor gas primer button for easy pull starts. My mower arrived with no damage. However, shipping containing box should be made much stronger. Very good quality for the price.

This mower hasn’t worked since the first day. It started blowing smoke the first time it was used. It sputters and makes loud noises. I inquired with the company and they said to see if there was too much oil in it. There wasn’t. I tried to use it a second time and all but one bolt had fallen out. The engine on the top is now held on with one bolt that if it falls out the blade will most certainly fly off. This is dangerous. I am trying to get a refund but the company wants me to mail it back first. Problem is that since there was gas and oil in it the post office won’t allow me to ship it back. I’m not getting anywhere with this return process.

My mom, who is in her early 70's, still likes to cut her own grass but cannot start her pull lawnmower anymore. We found this mower with an automatic key start and self propelled, it works great for her. It took a little figuring out to assemble, the instructions were for the pull start version, but I got it I about 30 minuets. It is not heavy duty but works just fine for a normal residential lawn.

mower was easy to start worked great then died and had a fully failed engine after the 3rd time we used the lawn mower. All assembly and care was done according to instructions and I have experience with lawncare equipment. The local cost to make the needed engine repairs from two shops are around two $200 to make it run again. attempt to return by amazon was rejected because i had it for a while before i assembled and used it. would love to have the mower in a usable state - don’t want others to save a few buck to mow the lawn 3 times! Again great mower for the value just need to it to run! Come on Mellcom - make it right!$
