It is good for the money. At the time of my review, its about $20. I bought this to use for headlight restorations only.The sand paper discs were pretty good. They were pretty durable for wet sanding, and 1 disc was able to remove all oxidation from 2 head lights, with plenty of life left to do probably another pair. With 10 of each different grit, it's actually a pretty good deal for the money. However, I probably won't ever use anything higher than the 3000 grit. Still a good deal for just the sand paper alone.The drill attachment was durable.The foam pad attachment was as durable as foam pads go. It did wear out a little, but that happens when you hit those little points on the headlights. If I were to use it on headlights without those little points, the foam wouldn't tear.The hook and loop is durable and strong.Overall, it's this little kit is worth the money. Just be sure you have a good quality drill, some skills with what you plan to do, and you will get good quality results. This kit will get you started on your projects, and all you have to do is replenish what wears out or what you need.

This is the kit to buy if you already own the Meguiar's headlight polishing kit.The Meguiar's kit only comes with 1000 and 3000 grit pads, but this kit extends down 600, which expert claims you really need the coarser grit for doing plastic headlight lenses.The Meguiar's kit sanding pads have a foam backing, but it's this foam backing that disintegrates when using water, as the instructions says - you get one use out of them before they fall apart.Unlike the Meguiar's kit, this kit doesn't use the foam pad in between the sandpaper and velcro sides, so no worrying about everything falling apart.Hell, you get a lot of extra pads, so no worries about the pads falling apart!The same 3" size allows these pads to be used with the Meguiar's hand foam block.

I have a project where I cut 1/4" acrylic rod into 6" lengths. The rods are used as handles for my project and getting a finished look is important. It took me over 15 minutes to polish the ends until I got this tool. Now about 2, if even that. I put the disk holder into a variable speed drill and have a way to mount it so the disk is vertical. Running about 33 rpm, I use a moist paint brush to apply a little water to the sand paper and now can sand the rough ends quickly. Changing out to a finer grit of paper is a snap as I get smoother and smoother. This kit enables me to use what grit I felt is necessary the do the job efficiently. As if now I have produced over 200 handles with more to come. A great time saver. lowering production costs.

Like the fact that it contains multiple grits of paper without having to purchase alot of expensive diffrent packs. I like the size and the hook and loop that keeps them in place while sanding.

Headlights needed refinishing on a few of the family vehicles. I tested on my old Pontiac vibe first because if it didn't work well I figured my lights couldn't get much worse anyways. Well. The picture can speak for itself, it made the world of a difference and now both lights look like brand new! Take your time keep spraying the light with water and wipe it down well between each change in grit. Once you get to 10000 switch to sanding sponges and be sure to use polish (I used Flitz), and then wax seal with your final shine. I actually used the polish on the last 2 sanding sponges remember to wet sand with the sponges as well.

Great variety of grits down to 5000 grits for polishishing and taking scratches out of car bodies
