I get a pretty small chirp at boot with this speaker. Had that motherboard in a different case with a different speaker in that case and the boot announcement was pretty clear. This speaker works but pretty quiet.

The "headline" says it all.

Super useful, gives you audible error codes if POST fails for some reason (good in budget motherboards that don't have several LEDs for that). Also gives you a satisfying "beep" every time you boot the system, and I guess, true hardware support for "PC Speaker" sound in your old copy of Leisure Suit Larry :)

my motherboard didn't come with one, so I got two for the same price of one at Microcenter. I didn't even need the extra I could have just bought it at Microcenter :)
