Decent value. Read pros and cons in review.
If you're shopping for an extension these all seem to have the same flaw: there is no security notch for the flap to secure the plug on the vehicle side.Cons: The top rail on the vehicle plug is flat so that the cover doesn't poperly close locking in the plug to the receiver. Judging by the pictures this is the same on brands like Curt as well. If you've got a way to properly secure the plug to the vehicle without concern of it popping loose then read further.Pros: it is a very flexible cable when new. It's a 10awg primary, 12awg brake and 14awg lighting wires which is great. Feels like the weight of solid copper core wire which is good.Because this is a pass through cable the wiring colors don't really matter other than the full size gauge primary and brake wires are simply larger than the rest. It is a molded vehicle end so no point in trying to rewire the socket end.Decent value but not sure it will work for my use.

Wire colors DO NOT match with typical F150 trailer plug wiring!!
You have to be careful and realized that the wire colors in this cable DO NOT match typical wire colors in a 2013 Ford F150 truck plugs! For example a typical Left turn wire in the plug is yellow, in this product is RED.Right turn wire is typically green in the plug, in this product is BROWN.I installed and wire matching the colors with my trailers wires and it didn't work. I had to figure out which color would match the plug wires of my 2013 F150. Be careful!! IS NOT PLUG AND PLAY FOR A 2013 F150!!

great for trailer light install
This product made installing trailer lights easy and well organized. It allows a relatively water resistant installation. I would recommend this for any trailer lighting setup, including replacing or repairing existing wiring. The only criticism is that they use a color coding system that has no relevance to the standard trailer wiring color coding. A very minor issue, but I could not fathom why they needed to use proprietary color coding.

Color code off.... Beware!!!
It's a great quality build.... but the color code for trailers is all efd up, nothing was right but brake and ground was wired properly. Do not know if it was just mine but I would advise testing to make sure before you spend all of your hard work to just get frustrated. I fortunately checked before plumping everything up to look nice to then have to tear it apart to find the problem. It has a nice molded plug so you don't want to cut into it, just test the unit to make sure everything is good if not fix it before installing and I would advise making it properly inside the cover 😉 good luck everyone and godspeed.

It's junk
The plug is wired incorrectly, It'll have to be cut off and I'll have to buy a whole new plug I can wire up correctly. Waste of money!

Great except that the cable is way too long.
Great except that the cable is way too long. should give option to shorten the cable with the connectors not attached already. Another issues is the top rubber grommet does not water seal so you need to add some silicone to it to make it water tight.

Already pulling apart...
I have not even got one full camping season out of this connector and the outer jacket is already pulling out of the 7-pin connector.

Improperly wired at trailer to truck connection
This harness burned the fuse block in my truck causing the transmission not to shift. The plug is not wired per standard trailers. This caused way more aggravation than one could possibly ask for. Do me a favor and remove this junk item I don't know who assembled these but they should stop
