Simply brilliant
So, I decided something had to be done as I've already ended up in the dog house twice in the last few months having not shut the freezer door properly and leaving it slightly ajar. The surprise of a defrosted freezer was not discovered until the following morning by which time most of the food had thawed to the extent where it needed cooking straightaway or throwing away entirely. Not good!I started looking for fridge/freezer thermometers with alarms and saw there are plenty that have the thermistors (temperature sensing parts) attached to the digital display via long wires. Although this will work well in principle the only way to place the sensors is by having the cables running in-between the door seals etc. which not only looks quite untidy but you could potentially be breaking the vacuum seal that the freezer creates when the door is closed.I came across the Oria Fridge/Freezer Thermometer with 2 wireless sensors which has also received very positive reviews. I thought what a great idea and decided to buy one as a wireless solution would certainly deal with my prior concerns of tidiness and door seals. You'll need a few batteries to get up an running as they are not provided. The main display requires 2 x AAA batteries and the wireless sensors require 2 x AA batteries each (for a total of 4 x AA batteries). I've used rechargeable Duracell batteries for all of it and they work fine, although the battery indicators for the wireless sensors say the batteries are half full even when fully charged. I've had this a few times with rechargeable batteries and suspect it's down to them only providing 1.2V instead of 1.5V. Initially I was concerned the batteries might stop working after a few days of being in the freezer but they've been absolutely fine for weeks now.A few people have said that the instructions were difficult to follow or abruptly written. I personally did not find this to be the case and found them easy to follow especially as there are images of the buttons in the instructions which takes out most of the guess work. Perhaps the manual has been revised recently? Like with a lot of products these days they are often made in countries such as China and the instructions are often badly translated which makes for poor reading. The product actually seems quite well made with the main unit having a very clear and concise display. It has a magnetised back so I've stuck it on the fridge door and it hasn't moved (i.e. slid down on its own). The 2 remote units are quite large and have a slightly odd spring clip to attach them to shelves so I've just laid them down in the corner of the fridge and freezer and they work perfectly. The main display can actually monitor the 2 wireless sensors and the room temperature at the same time which is great. The alarm is annoying enough that I can hear it anywhere in the house. Unfortunately that alarm won't help if the freezer door is left open in the morning before going to work though! My wireless sensors are reporting a lower temperature by 2 degrees Celsius so I just took that into account when setting the alarm thresholds. I would definitely recommend comparing your sensors with a known working thermometer.I was very surprised to see how much the temperatures vary over time as it displays the highest and lowest temperatures recorded. The room temperature clearly plays a noticeable part in the temperature of the fridge and freezer which both seem to have a recorded range of about 6 degrees Celsius.Overall I am really impressed with this purchase. I think it's excellent value for money and it works perfectly.Pros:- Great value- Wirelessly monitor fridge, freezer and room temperatures- Alarms can be set for all 3 temperatures, each with a different temperature range- Works perfectly with rechargeable batteries- Magnetised back so it can be easily attached to metal surfaces, i.e. fridge door- Simple to useNeutral:- Batteries not included so you will need to buy 2 x AAA and 4 x AA- Battery indicator shows half full for fully charged rechargeable batteriesNegative:- Wireless sensors are quite large and not easy to mount- Temperature is a couple of degrees Celsius out

Not overly complicated
Great value and just the right features, without being overly complicated. Temp sensor built-in to the main body, and two remote/wireless sensors. We use our remote sensors for the fridge and freezer, time will tell if the the remote sensors survive this environment, if not will have to look for one that is IP rated. Haven't had the device long enough to know if we can get a long enough battery life at these temperatures. The only thing I would change is for it to maintain the min/max readings until manually reset, they appear to automatically reset every 24 hours, but this isn't a big problem for what we want. Main device sits flat and securely against the fridge door using the magnetic mounts. The display is slightly dim, so we had to position it where it was properly illuminated. I have nothing to test the accuracy, but the fridge/freezer is brand new and the readings are showing expected values, around 1-5 degrees Celsius for the fridge, -21 to -18 for the freezer, and 18 for the room temperature, so looks good to me.

Great sensors
Worked great, nice big solid clips to hold it onto a shelf in the fridge (too many of these types of sensors just sit loose or fall off when the sticker gets damp/cold. Independent alarm settings for fridge, freezer and the room (but you can also turn the alarm off if you don't want it).Best part is that the sensors are easily readable by rtl_433 if you're into home automation and want to pull them into Home Assistant or similar. Can't fault it.

Works great to protect medication
We need to ensure the fridge is between 2-8 deg's to protect medication. This works great, confirmed temp accuracy with another method.Takes 2 minutes to setup. Happy and reassured.

Works great for my uses.
update, new fridge freezer (FF) arrived for the garage. The range of this unit is amazing, I've got a signal from 12 foot away and through 2 brick walls to my kitchen. So the garage FF sends the signal to the unit mounted on my kitchen FF so I can see everything's ok without leaving the house. Absolute steal at the price.original review.for someone who has just had to throw out £60 of food from a freezer in the garage due to it breaking down this is a godsend. If I had this set up it would have alarmed up when the freezer dropped to -8oc which is ample opportunity to decant the high value items into another freezer in the kitchen. Fairly easy to set up, instruction could have been a bit easier but sussed it out in 10 minutes. Bought with lithium batteries to aid hassle free operation and for £25 have decent system. THe temperatures on the units seem accurate. Will update in a months time my experience but so far more than happy. New freezer arriving next week so fingers crossed ( Beko branded, suitable for unheated areas)

No batteries included.
Product seems to be good but disappointing that there were no batteries. I have checked the advert and I can’t see any mention that they were not included but neither did it say they were. Most things do seem to come with batteries these days so I think it should have been made clearer.

Hard to program
I followed the instructions: I just have to hope it works if the freezer packs up again (I keep leaving the door slightly open).
