I needed to replace a latch that launched itself. Good fit and easy to install.

Used as replacement for broken ball base, fit right in and worked great.The first shipment went to neighbor's mail box by mistake unknown to me and request replacement for non-receipt arrived the next day. Great Vendor.

These ball latched worked well, but know what you need to do BEFORE installing these. There were NO instructions included in the packaging. I had to go back to the original listing to capture the measurement and instruction slides, and I was able to figure out the install process. I used a 7/8" paddle bit to drill the latch hole on top of the door and then drove the ball latch in with the equivalent of a nylon head hammer. The latch plate was the hardest part to install, because one of the doors on which I was working had a TIGHT top seam. I had to recess the strike plate, but because the strike plate had three bump-outs of metal (the two screw holes and the strike area), I additionally used hole saw bits to drill shallow holes behind those bump outs so that the plate sat flat in the door frame. When it was done it worked well.

Product is as advertised. Quality product.

These were better than the originals that came with the door and now our pantry doors are very smooth and easy to open and close.
