Good setup. Would recommend to anyone.
Built this for a friend's daughter, using a Labists Pi4 8Gb kit as the core. Set it up as a desktop & emulator machine and she is quite happy with it.Personally, I'm not a fan of plain heat sinks. The cooler from the labists kit is much better, as it is a large heat sink that covers all four heat producing chips and has two fans as well. Her Pi is overclocked to 2.0GHz with no heating issues in this case, but the stock fan in this kit won't cut it, nor will the heat sinks. You NEED something like the unit from the Labists kit for heat management. The Labists fan is the best thing for the Pi, short of the Ice Tower. Ice Tower won't come close to fitting in this case. The Labists fan, however, fits comfortably. I'd recommend the Labists, or at least a heatsink/fan unit in that style, regardless of overclocking. Those units just cool amazingly well for their size. I've never hit 70C on my Pi, and mine is overclocked to 2.2GHz.Build quality was nice, not sloppy, and made assembly very simple. Nothing was misaligned, and no mould flash to get in the way, either.I didn't dock them a star for the fan and heatsink inadequacy, because most people who buy this are going to get a kit, anyway. You need the power cords and memory card, and the kit is a good value that includes better cooling plus the necessities. The only downside to Labists is that, as of the time of this review, they no longer have an Amazon presence and their prices have gone up at the website.

Design flawed, yet worth every penny
Worth every penny. Bay door is stiff for first open but easy after and still snaps shut. Great dust cover for those ports. This thing is so F***ing cool 😆🕹👾 could have slightly better design like working power/reset front buttons, player 1&2 USB port location, moving video, Ethernet, audio to the rear and maybe the last 2 USB under the cartridge bay door. However, despite minor details, totally worth the cost and it throws a smile on my face seeing this sitting on top of my WIIU

Great case, decent cooling.
This case was overall easy to assemble but mounting the computer in the case was a bit difficult and resulted in a couple stripped screws. Other than that the quality of the plastic is amazing and the fan moves enough air to keep the Pi 4 cool during most workloads.

Smaller than I expected
Very cool retro case. All the amazon pictures are zoomed in. So without thinking, I thought it would be a similar size to the larger Nintendo case with the SSD. I might pick that one up later for fun.

Pretty good not the best
Probably one of the coolest budget cases, that being said it IS a budget case. Flimsy and not the greastest quality. Ports are acessed by opening the "cartraige container" does not come open easy and must be left open the entire time to use ports.

Garbage case, no power button or reset.
I bought this, garbage case. I bought the retroflag nes pi4 case. That is the case to buy. The Retroflag case has heat sinks and a aluminum fan. Also has all the tools to build it (Minus pi4) comes with a power pack, and has start and reset. The case their selling here is light, flimsy, and the LED light you have to buy and put in yourself. This case doesn't take any screws just snaps together. It can fall apart at anytime. Forget this case, do yourself a favor and buy the best Retroflag Pi4 NES case.

A very cool case for the Raspberry Pi
This case works great, easy to assemble. The controllers are decent. Have not found a flaw as of yet. Good Times.

Cheap material no good quality
The product looks good and arrived so fast. However when you start using it you can feel the difference between these controls and some others. The quality, the response time, ...In the games you can not complete good movements some times because the response is not good.

Great for a Retro Pi Build
I've bought 2 of these. Both were easy to assemble. Instructions were clear. Getting the controllers with the case as well as the heat sinks is nice.

Cute case, loud fan, controllers are trash.
Wish they would just sell the case without the throwaway toy controllers. They're useless. Mushy buttons, short USB cables, no good. Didn't even try plugging them in. Instead picked up a pair of 8bitdo Pro 2's.The case itself is nice. Pi fts in perfectly. Lid obviously won't close with any USB peripherals inserted, but that's fine. The fan sounds like a jet engine. Seriously, it's no good. Hoping to replace it with something quieter.Drop the trash controllers and give me a better fan and the price would be fine.
