Works as it should but...
The struts are identical to the OEM units and work as they should. The rubber boots on the other hand, they were not properly assembled and ended up splitting after opening the hatch only a handful of times. So if you're looking for function over OEM look then these are perfect. Otherwise, find another brand and try them out instead.

Perfect. Super easy. Don't take anything apart back there. You can unbolt old struts without removing any plastic panels if you are careful!

takes the weight of the ss spoiler on my 94 z28
Perfect fit and easy to install but most importantly my hatch has the ss spoiler on it which is heavier then the other spoiler and it hold the hatch up just fine for now.we will see how it does a year from now.my others lasted apx 5 years qhich was prettygood as many times as I get in the back opening and closing it often
