I wasn't going to get this Power AC Adapter, but am so glad I did. I use my radio a lot all over the house and found that I had to replace batteries quite often. This product works really well so if I am in an area for a long time I just plug it in and it saves battery use.

This cord gave me my old radio back. The battery department does not work on the radio so I ordered this cord. It was music to my ears when I finally got it. It was worth the money.

Bought a second one to place in a different room in the house so I do not have to use battery's during the day when I listen to the radio.

I left a bad review for this item after it failed to work with my Sangean radio after a year of use. Sorry - it was not the adaptor but the Radio. There was a problem it’s where the cord plugged into the radio’s power socket. A week ago, the Radio quit after seven years of hard use and more than a few drops. So I think it is safe to say to was not the cord but the radio.It works fine with my new Sangean.

This adapter works well.The capacitor in my 3 yr old PR-D18 has died, that means that every time I change the batteries I have reprogram the pre-set stations and the clock. Now I run the radio with the adapter when I change batteries and the memory doesn't get lost.

Purchased the adapter to use with the PR-D18 and it works very well. I have the radio right up against the wall plug and there is no interference / static in any of the AM stations that I listen to. Very happy.
