It's the largest set they have so far and it's marvelous. I have almost all the sets for my 7 yr old and this was a homerun with him. It's a little more difficult to assemble but like all the sets the phone app makes it easy even for him to put together.

This is the best! If you read the reviews that gave it less stars you can tell it's because they didn't understand what they were ordering. These Legos are such a different way to play and it's amazing. Thanks Lego for coming up with new exciting ways to play.The best part is the instruction app (a quick free 5 second download) so you don't have to worry about ripped losing instructions with missing pages. Instructions are always really accessable and fun. And after playing with it the boys still had fun rearranging things and making it their own, so you can still have creative play, the best part of Lego.Make sure you get Mario first! These sets are fun!

My GRANDSON'S just love their gift 🎁..for the drums, and lego....But the gaming chair for my oldest GRANDSON broken lights didn't work...My othe GRANDSON 3 the ipad never came only some of the essentials that I ordered with it...So they were VERY DISAPPOINTED, THESE WERE GIFTS 🎁 FOR THEM...SO I'M DISAPPOINTED AND WE TRYING TO RETURN THE CHAIR. THE SELLER WANTS TO GIVE ME BACK HALF OF MY MONIES..THEY CONTACTED ME. THIS IS SO SAD FOR THEM. THIS WAS LAST MONTH.

I purchased this as a gift for my 10 year old nephew. Needless to say, he loved it.The lego set arrived promptly and in a box that protected the actual box from damage. Five stars.

it is almost best play set of lego I ever see. Super fun to play with kids, amazingly durable, not easy to break apart when they fall. I really appreciated how lego design this series of product

My 8 year old is obsessed with legos and mario so what better gift? There is an app that goes with this set to show in 3d how to put it all together which means that it's easy for him to do it himself! Be warned that the mario figure is not included in this set.

We bought this for our son for his 7th birthday and he LOVES it. He loves Mario and he loves LEGO. We loved this extension the most since it had the most Lego in it to build. He has had it over a month and plays with it every day. I would suggest this set to any LEGO Mario fan!

This is a pricey (I bought at MSRP, not inflated prices) set but as a long time Lego and Mario fan I just had to have it, after all, no Mario game is complete without fighting Bowser. I will be as brief as I can be here:PROS:- Love the color of the figures, particularly Bowser: very, VERY accurate recreation of the 16-bit aesthetic- The side towers are very nice additions, the Boo spins faster than Mario so you have to "time" your jump off point- Good amount of contraptions for defeating Bowser, very creativeCONS:- For the price I would like at least one more character to add to the collection, don't feel like buying the random bags to fill the castle with enemies- The final Bowser contraption is not perfect, it sometimes needs manual assistance (a.k.a. a push a.k.a. cheating) to bring it down from his "throne". I'm pretty sure I built it right, the mechanism is just simply too "subtle". This is the reason I am knocking a star.
