This is a good kit for the price however the blade is not good-- many of these window films are thick and I'd advise getting yourself a better quality blade.

This kit was perfect for putting up a wall of self-adhered wall paper. Would buy again.

The knife works well, but the blade falls out if you aren't careful, especially when cutting something circular. Was able to finish my project, but will be buying brand name next time. The smoothing tools worked great.

Besides the razor knife, rest of the kit is fine.

Only reason I didn't give it the full stars is because it was missing the exacto knife used to cut the wallpaper and I needed to go buy a box cutter (just moved and my other ones were packed)

Found it easier personally to cut with scissors only because I go by eye or pen marks. I'm too much in a rush to measure, mark and then cut. The blade was sharp and I was afraid I would scratch up the glass or part of the plastic on the door if I used it while holding the film in place on the door and cutting. That's basically how I did it. Had to do some patching with tape lol. The smoothing tool came in handy. When I do the work myself it seems my perfectionist additude disappears. It's a good lesson to learn the next time you have someone else do a job and it just doesn't come out so perfectly.
