Durable and very easy to apply
I love how easy it is to customize and apply this tape. Easy to make custom shapes, just outline and cut with scissors. Great adhesion. Used it for various parts of my boat trailer for step traction. Also works great on hockey sticks. Great value for the price.

Ummm WOAH
First time needing this product. I ordered WAY too much but I’m glad I did. I could probably use this on more things. The grit makes sure no one will slip and fall. The adhesion is something strong! Holy cow!! It does have a strong smell but dissipates after awhile. No stretch, not reflective, but dang will it hold up! Great purchase! Worth every penny!

protection and grip for my stairs and easy to install
Ok, so my deck stairs were having issues with moss in the winter time and due to wear and tear they were getting old. I live in the Pacific Northwest. where it rains all the time in the winter. My dogs go up and down the stairs daily and I have been afraid of them getting hurt by the slippery moss that accumulates on the stairs. I tried to remove the moss and that worked for about a week or two and then it started coming back. My stairs are getting old too and a bit worn and I was going to replace them this year but other expenses came up and I haven't gotten around to it. So on to plan B which was to buy something that would make the stairs non slippery and protect them to give them a longer life. I went went the 12 inch width and I am glad that I did as it covers all of the stairs and will provide some protection against the rain as well as grip for those coming up and down the stairs.I did this in about an hour one evening soon after I got the shipment from Amazon. I cut it using just a pair of scissors. I was concerned that the 80 grit would be too rough but I have been on the stairs with my bare feet and didn't have any issues. The glue backing on the stairs isn't very strong and I worried about that but after putting it down and using it. I have decided that they made the right choice to make it that way as I can remove it, if needed without any issues. So far their hasn't been any problems with it. No slippage or anything after it has been placed down. The only con is that the peel off back is a bit hard to take off.Overall, I love this product. Normally, I don't take the time to do reviews on products but this one have me raving. It has bought me a few more years life for my stairs and is protecting me and my family from slipping on the wet stairs.

Tears easily
Has really good surface and walking grip. I used it on my motorcycle lift and it really helps with loading and unloading. It is tearing in areas. I know this isn't the primary function but it makes life a lot easier. I’ll be putting it on my deck steps before winter for the dogs. Just be careful when handling it, it’ll tear with some more effort than paper and it’ll stick together quickly. It does have memory from unrolling it, so if you’re using a big piece it’ll be easier to handle with 2 people. It’s great otherwise.

Works Great: Some thoughts based on other reviews
Used this tape on a slippery staircase (laminate) and it worked great. Strongly recommend.I had a lot of trouble trying to pick which grip tape to buy so after reading (too) many reviews, I actually bought 2 different brands. This brand is definitely thicker making it feel more rubbery than the other brand while having similar clarity, so I ended up using this one.About the clarity of the tape: The material is clear but textured so it does have a slight white color. When the tape sticks, if there are bubbles underneath it will look more white. In my case, we put it down on very smooth flooring, so while you could notice the tape was there, I thought it looked fine and was clear enough. If you put this on something rougher, like unfinished wood, it's probably going to look less clear. Also in my case it looked a little better the next day, I think walking over it just pressed it down more. For stickyness it was about as sticky as I want. I don't think it will come off easily, but also if in a year from now I need to remove the tape, I won't be afraid it will peel of the finish on the floor. To test this I let the tape stay for a day on the floor and peeled it off. Not the most scientific test, but it made me comfortable using 2 rolls of this stuff on our staircases. I don't expect this would last a long time on an outdoor steps or rougher surfaces/unfinished wood, but I'm guessing that's where people are having issues with it coming off.

Perfect for Dog Ramp
I used this for an indoor dog ramp I have leading up to my bed. The ramp is large, as is the dog. It came with carpet but it’s a little steep and I could see him struggling to get a grip. He also would get nervous about sliding when getting down.I had to glue these down since it was carpet, but the adhesion was strong on the wood edges without glue.My dog seems more confident on the ramp. He gets up and down much quicker. Very happy!

Very difficult to peel the paper backing.
Well, the tape is very grippy and sticks well to metal stairs, peeling the paper away from the strip was nearly impossible. It took a good 10 minutes per strip of picking, before the paper would come away from the adhesive back, and even then, sometimes the paper Split in half leaving some of it on the sticky part. Then you have to try to peel that away, and it is even harder because the paper has thinned. This product is not at all easy to use until you get the paper stripped away from the adhesive.
