Just what I needed for the one gallon glass jugs, and the price was reasonable. I can use them on other bottles, seal, fit and very easy to clean. They gives a professional appearance, and steals in the freshness of my stored contents.

If you fill your own growlers then you will want fresh lids. Sure you can reuse them but eventually you're going to want new ones.

I had purchased gal glass jugs and bought these for them. They fit with no problem, but out of the box there were about 6 lids that would not go on the gal jugs w/o cross threading. I thought it may be the jugs, but "good" lids fit on the jug the cross threaded caps wouldn't, so it IS the caps that some are bad. Now, I did not turn the jugs, filled with distilled water, on their side to check leakage, but the lids don't screw on many turns, so I can only assume they may leak with liquid in them when turned on the side.

Packed maple syrup into 16oz bottles, and used these caps. The fit was inconsistent, some would not screw down, or bound up on the threads before seating. I was not confident in the seal, so I threw out these caps and repacked the whole batch.

The media could not be loaded.  These caps fit perfectly for your glass water jars. I bought a few half gallon and full gallon jars at whole foods to fill up with reverse osmosis water 💧 and these caps fit perfectly and are extremely sturdy.

Used it to cap growlers!

I got these to cap my growlers for my homebrews. They work. However, after one or two twist on/off actions, the screw threads lose their paint and the cap is very tough to turn. If you want single use (screw on to seal, unscrew to drink, and immediately toss in the trash) then these fit the bill. If you want something you can put back on for later, I wouldn't recommend these.

These lids do not fit correctly and sometimes leak.
