I purchased these arms after carefully reviewing them on Amazon and I must say that they worked great!! They are very easy to install and a 5 year old can understand the directions on how to install the wiring and the arms, once you follow the instructions you will have great service from these arms!! I bought this and installed it a few months ago, but there were some things not working right about it and some of the additional accessories. I reached out to Topens Customer Support and Chloe was the associate who assisted me. Chloe was fantastic! She responded to me quickly and her instructions were easy to understand. She turned a very stressful situation into a positive experience! I'm happy with my purchase and I will recommend Topens to anyone installing an automatic gate.

Easy to install, did it with just 2 people. Also works very easily and intuitive to use. Customer Service is also great - very responsive.

The media could not be loaded.  *****UP DATE********I invented a locking mechinism that works GREAT with this gate system!No more fumbling with locks just one touch of the remote to open the gate system; system auto unlocks, OPENS, auto close and auto locks first time everytime and people walking by aren't aware ya locked it.Not telling ya how I got it to lock.*************************NO Lock! Has no lock! Ya can't lock the gate! Topens sells a lock as shown in the middle right picture but,There is no provision/connection on the PC Board for a lock as shown on other PC Boards (picture)I think, someone should say something about this problem, with the NO LOCK Situation!Seems to Me the intent of a Gate or Door is to close and lock to keep people out, right?!!Otherwise this gate system is very good, Silent no noise at all that I can tell, nice safe swing speed, auto close with plenty of time to get through, stops when interferred with and reverses direction, made of fair construction but, no lock. Why would anyone (Chinese included) make something without the (LOCK) main component?*****UP DATE********This didn't work;I gonna try updating My PC Board to a TOPENS EKPKMJ4B PCB Print Circuit Control Board Which has the lock function (and I have in My hot little hand right now just need a few more parts to install).*****UP DATE********This now works withTOPENS ET24 Automatic Electric Gate Lock for DC 24V Swing Gate Opener Gate Operator System Device Safe Security Gate Lock;EKPKMJ4B won't work with this but, the keypad (a Retekess T-AC04 Garage Keyless Entry Pad) I am using will. I am changing My rating to five stars, as the situation seems to have been corrected with mixing and matching different parts which is really cool that ya can and the mix of parts to fix this I found makes this unit much better including adding more fuction (Solar) and adjustments then ever before.Not telling ya how I got it all working together.

Easy enough to install and adjust after a few test cycles to fine tune the swing range. Plastic parts are integrated into the connections which seem, to me at least, to be a weak spot in the design. Plastic that is continually exposed to weather and the hot southern sun here in the gulf coast states has never held up in my experience. UV damage causes the plastic to become brittle and therefore easily break. Time will tell. Still might’ve gone with 4 stars overall IF the control box fit together better. The case was slightly warped when removed from the box and so it has a small gap between the base and outer cover. Plenty of room for rain to get in. It is recommended that the control box be installed under a rain guard, presumably due to the likelihood of leaking. The gasket isn’t thick enough to fill the gap. Had to seal with waterproof tape until I get a chance to build a more permanent cover. All in all, it’s still better than operating the gate manually.

My install was difficult because I was drilling into a masonry wall. No fault of Topens just the design of my gate. One of the arms was defective or damaged upon arrival and Topens quickly replaced the part. The support team was fantastic and the gate has been working now flawlessly for months. It gets little picky when a stone gets trapped under the bottom bar of the gate but we have a gravel driveway and it just happens.

I bought this setup for a dual gate I have on my driveway and it works well so far. The install was a little tedious, but not too difficult. I spent more time adjusting everything and trying to figure out the programming of all the settings. When you have additional things added to the control panel, it gets a little crowded inside the box, but I found taking the panel that you connect the wires to out while connecting everything helps. The instructions were not terrible, but they were a little confusing at times and I had better luck when I just tested the system out and made small adjustments until I got it right. Overall, I really like having this addition to my gate and it works well for what I need.
