I ordered two gaskets so we have one ready if our cooker starts leaking steam again from wear. It's recommended to replace the gasket annually. Of course in reality I would imagine it depends on how often you use the cooker. We went a few years before replacing. You will know for certain when it's time to replace. The steam will be escaping from the gasket area. Good to have a new one on hand when this happens.

Didn't think I was going to able to get replacements for my old Tfall pressure cooker but then found this and its just perfect

Tengo una olla, XPRESS tefal, y este empaque le ha quedado a la perfección, por lo que ahora puedo volver a usar mi olla XPRESS, tan seguido como lo hacía antes. Lo recomiendo mucho para las ollas que son aptas para el empaque.

This looked like the right thing, and it turns out to be so. I had long since forgotten how the gasket should look and feel. Even with everything spotlessly clean the old gasket would not hold any pressure. The old gasket is easy to pull out, and the new one just slots right in. Perfect size. The new gasket feels very soft and sticky compared to the old one. I boiled a pint of water to test the seal, it didn't leak any steam until the pressure valve started to release steam. Perfect. My pressure cooker is restored to new condition.Why anyone would expect instructions on how to use the pressure cooker, with a replacement gasket, is beyond me.

Fit but cooker still leaks

Es la segundo vez que lo compro la vez anterior fue en diciembre 2022, aun esta en buenas condiciones pero necesito tener un repuesto a la mano es para la CLIPSO DE 6 LITROS le queda a la medida, antes deje de usar mi olla de presion por varios años ya que no encontraba el gasket de repuesto.Estoy muy satisfecha con esta compra, la recomiendo para este modelo en la imagen.La entrega fue muy rápida y cumplio con mis expectativas el producto es excelente.

Purchased this replacement gasket for my manual pressure cooker, the T-fal Calipso model P45007, in September 2024. T-fal recommends replacing the gasket every year or so. However, in less than 3 months, this gasket no longer maintains adequate cooking pressure. Steam escapes from under the cooker lid, not through the escape valve. In effect, without a properly functioning gasket, this pressure cooker is no longer a pressure cooker. This pressure cooker can only function as a stovetop pot. I love my pressure cooker because it saves a lot of cooking time. And because of the time saved, I modified many of my recipes. I miss cooking with the pressure cooker and I can hardly wait until I can find another supplier who can sell me a replacement gasket that really works.
