Broke instantly after installation
Replaced the old brackets, put it back in the frame. As soon as I rolled it, both wheels popped out. Back to square one

Perfect replacement for 1980s aluminum window
Yup. I have those old aluminum windows, single pane, sliding…you know the ones. Well, I did a lot of scouring online and found a perfect replacement. Yay. So yeah, don’t give up on your old windows, buy new wheels. I’m ordering a few more for my other windows.

Exact match
I was surprised to find the exact same thing for my windows. Maybe it's common and the house is just about 30 years old. But aluminum windows seem not to be popular these days. It seems to be as sturdy as the original even though both are plastic. Because all the windows are huge they aren't opened and closed that often. Most of the sliding wheels still have a healthy diameter left. But I might as well change them all because in 30 years it won't be my job anymore.
