Job done
Worked for me fine. Drilled through Stone front, and 2x4’s with ease. Power was more than enough. Saved a lot of money and time.

A Good Deal On A New Drill
I bought this corded drill to use because I'm tired of not having enough power to complete my projects on schedule when my cordless drill's batteries die. For the money I spent on this, It has performed admirably. The reason for not giving it the 5th star is due to the inherent probability that it's cord will eventually tip over something that'll break which a cordless drill would never cause to happen. I'll try to be careful, but I know that I'll have a lapse eventually. Also, this corded drill performs less than ideal when there's a power outage. So there's the downsides to being corded, but I still think this is the better option for me.

Good drill for light use
Great item for the price, especially with the masonry bits that it comes with. I do think the masonry bits are a bit flimsy, so tended to vibrate when drilling, which made the hole a bit bigger.

Great quality for the money.
I am very surprised by the quality of this drill considering its low cost.It drilled 4" into 25 year-old concrete with ease.

Not for professional use. May be good for one job.
If you're a professional and need a tool for daily use, I don't even know why you're looking here, unless your tools frequently get stolen. This tool is for those who have one job they need it for, and then they'll stash it in the garage for years just in case it may be needed again. Maybe it might still work!I had one job: Drive a grounding rod into the ground. It was a 4 foot rod, and the soil was soft. I probably could have just done it with a hammer, but this was cheap and I didn't want to have the rod and lose another day because I needed more force to drive it in.I chucked up the rod, and used the tool for maybe 30 seconds to drive the rod into the ground. This was extremely easy work, and barely even loaded the motor. It did this very easy job, but I smelled burning electronics even before the rod went down. This smells like under rated components used in the control circuitry or maybe the motor itself. If I had to do 4 of those (about 2 minutes worth of work), I don't know if it would have made it.If you think you're only going to use it once (like I did), then roll the dice because it's cheap, maybe cheaper than a rental. If you think you're going to use this for a major project, or need it for your job, then either get one of the name brands, or be prepared to buy one for each day of the project, and hope it makes it through the day. (That might be a good idea if your tools frequently get stolen.)As for me, it did its job, and may survive long enough to drill a hole or drive another ground rod down in case I need to go to 8 feet. Once it burns out, at least I'll have a power cord I can use on something else!Oh, and I got a couple of the drill bits that were supposed to come with it. I didn't use them, and I don't expect much out of them. You get what you pay for. At least it didn't stink as much as Harbor Freight tools usually do!

Does the job
I bought it to hang picture frames on a cement wall. I made 12 holes so far and the drill worked great for me. I do see sparking inside the drill case while drilling though. Will have to see how long it last but I will most likely get my money's worth before it dies.
