Really attractive insect hotel
This is a well made insect house and is very attractive to look at too. I put on my garden fence in early spring 2021 and at the time of writing in July 2021 it is inhabited by a range of insects including a large number of bees, some butterflies and some ladybirds. There are quite possibly some other insects too that I haven't spotted or disturbed as I simply leave this alone and occasionally watch what is flying in and out. It has stood up well to the wet weather conditions that we have experienced over the past months and looks as good as new. Over all, good value for money.

Simple, rustic and garden friendly
The insect house is rustic, but fairly sturdy. I wasn't sure about the silvered roof, but it looks fine. It comes with a loop to hang it on a nail or branch which is fine if you have a sheltered spot. It may benefit from an aperture on the back so it can be hooked onto a nail perhaps on a fence or tree and is less likely to swing about in a breeze. There seems to be decent amount of space for insects to crawl in; in my other bug house the tubes were narrower and bees couldn't fit into them. The insect house comes well packaged against damage and, I would say, is fairly priced.

Untreated
Looks okay, fairly small and the timber looks not to have been treated.

Bug house
Looks well made and good size. It is a Xmas gift for my friend so hopefully she will love it.

Lovely quality
Bought this for my daughter and son-in-law for their new garden. Spent a couple of days watching to see for visitors, nothing as of yet, but it’s a pretty addition to an otherwise boring looking fence.

Lovely looking bug hotel but not weather proof.
I chose this hotel because I loved the style of it but the outside surfaces will need to be treated with gardenwood paint otherwise it will not withstand a season in the garden.

Insects will love it, and I think you will too!
This is a simple, but nicely made insect house that will look good in any garden.I bought this as a present, and was concerned about how sturdy it might be, but it does seem to be very well constructed. The packaging and contents survived the delivery process without any damage, although the cardboard box could have been a little stronger. The tin roof adds to the quality feel and ensures that the bugs will remain dry in their new homes.Overall I think that this insect house will make a great gift and look good in all gardens.

FRAGILE
