I purchased this as a gift for my sister, because she loves anything "Cats" She loves big cats and little cats. She also has really low body temperature (usually about 95 & 96 degrees and she's usually pretty chilly. I get hot and she gets cold...lol So, the thermostat is never set right. Anyway, I bought this and she kind of turned her nose up a little, because she didn't think it would be "Warm Enough" She thought it was, "Too Thin." I thought I'd be mailing it back. Back, as it turns out, it's one of her favorites and she's usually on the sofa or her bed with it. I know it's one of her favorites, because she lets "Mama" do whatever she wants and I'll hear her yelling, "Mama, get off my blanket!" Everything, but that...lol Mama was a badly abused old stray cat we adopted. While most of the cats we rescue, we try to get into the shelter to find forever homes, she could never be adopted out. She's too old, wild and she'd been too badly abused. It's been 4 years and we're still not able to pet her (would not even try), but she is starting to rub up against our legs and that's a huge breakthrough for her. This poor kitty was tortured by humans (I can barely call them human).I do recommend this blanket/throw. My sister says it's warm , soft and she likes the tiger design. This blanket is silky and washes very well. It is light weight but very warm. I just like the feel of it.

Great product for our daughter at a great price but it does smell bad (most likely the mandatory fire retardant chemicals) so now we have to spend a couple of hours and about $10 (to drive there, wash and dry) it in a public laundromat with those big machines that go round and round vs agitating back and forth in our home machine that might harm the blanket, tear it apart. Also, we do not want that chemical or it's smell in our home washers or dryers or our air. So, sadly, that adds a lot to the price BUT HEY, at least it will be super clean so all is well that ends well. We are happy.

I love this throw. I use it as a Dog Bed Blanket. Have several on all of my dog beds.I've had a couple for a few years and after numerous washings, it still looks good. Holds up well with multiple washings.I use smelly sprinkles in the washer and can smell it on the dog blanket, mmmm, smells good as it helps with the wet dog smell.I found these blankets from our local rescue that uses them so it definitely shows how durable they are to withstand daily and sometimes 2x a day washings.Dries very nice, no wrinkles and super soft.Your dog will love you even a bit more for this purchase !!!
