The folders kind of expand and can fit many papers. I use them in my teacher binder. The plastic is flexible and the binder holes don't rip like with paper folders. They also hold alot more than paper folders. I color coded all my subjects!

They will not be prone to rip or easily fall apart, like the paper folders, and should last through the school year. The three holes line up in a standard 3-ring binder, and are easy to load.
