This is the first time I’ve ordered from the brand and I was intrigued by the foil pieces. I ordered two puzzles at the same time and received one puzzle a day later than the other. The first puzzle I received does not have any foil on the pieces (disappointing); foil only on the box image of the puzzle. Since it’s the first time I’ve ordered from this brand and a foil puzzle, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The second puzzle arrived today, winter lights, and this does have gold foil on the individual pieces in addition to the box, so I don’t know if I just got it defective version of the Presentville puzzle, that has no pieces with actual foil.

Here’s a possible review:absolutely love these puzzles! The print is beautiful, with vibrant colors and sharp details that really stand out. The quality of the pieces is exceptional—sturdy and perfectly cut, making assembly smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys puzzles or wants to give a thoughtful gift!

This was a gift, but it is so pretty with the gold foil and lovely holiday festivities scene, I'm going to get one for myself! I love the Galison brand for their quality, pretty designs, and fun puzzles. I have several of their puzzles, but the foil feature is new to me and really makes it feels special. This puzzle is perfect for the holidays, to give as a gift, and for self gifting too!

I'm a big fan of Galison puzzles. They're always high-quality, with thick, sturdy pieces that fit together nicely. This "Winter Lights" puzzle with the foil accents was no exception – it's absolutely beautiful. The city scene is festive and charming, and the foil details add a really nice touch of sparkle. It was perfect for getting into the holiday spirit!It was definitely challenging, but in a good way. The 500-piece count is just right – not too easy, not too overwhelming. It took me and my family a few evenings to complete, which was perfect for some quality time together. The pieces are uniquely shaped, which adds to the challenge (and the fun!).The foil accents are gorgeous, but they do require a little extra care. ("How can I preserve the foil accents on this?" - Good question!) You have to be a bit gentle when handling the pieces, as the foil can scratch if you're too rough. This was a fun puzzle to put together! It felt more like a "Where's Waldo" to notice all the details in the pieces and then try to find that detail in the big picture to see where the piece belonged. Even my 9yo stuck with me from start to finish putting it together and wasn't too complicated or overwhelming for her. This will be a new Christmas tradition for us!

This was a perfect puzzle—not to hard and not too easy. The gold lights are so shiny they almost look real. A fun, festive, winter activity!
