Using UV Light to Darken Wooden Hardwood Floor
I'm using this light to darken a new section of laminate hardwood floor that was replaced after a flood.I suspend the light approx. 1 inch above the new wood. It takes approx. 3 or 4 days to darken a section of wood to match the old floor boards that aged normally over 16 years. The light is small, so I'm slowly covering the new boards. If you're doing a large project, you may need several lights (I bought a second one). But the effect of this light is sufficient to do the job (the light penetrates the finish and gently brings out the color in the wood).I've only been running it for a 10 days and so far it's working perfectly. I can't comment about the durability of these lights, but they seem solid to me.Compared to other UV lighting systems, I found this to be good value for money.

It works Great!
I use this with my Limino UV Resin to make Gemstone embedded jewelry. Pendants, Earrings, Necklaces, and other adornments. The Resin in the mold sets up in just a couple moments. The thicker molds require a few more minutes on each side.

Robust build, high output, great for UV fluorescent photography
I got the 50 watt version of this UV light for UV fluorescent photography. This type of photography uses fluorescent body paint and creates fine-art photos under UV light. While the light isn't truly UV - it's just above the blue end of the visible spectrum and below the actual UV spectrum - it does work for blacklight photography despite its powerful bluish glow in the visible spectrum. It is built really well and has very bright output, I would estimate it has the intensity of a halogen work light due to the higher frequency of light emitted. Do not look directly at it! I intend to use it in front of and above the subject and perhaps bounced off an aluminum diffusion panel. There is no on/off switch, but that is not important for this application.

Pretty good but Ive used stronger blacklights ...
These are pretty nice and effective for my backyard blacklight party. i like the swivel bracket and the on/off switch. the hole in the swivel bracket was too small to mount it on my chauvet clp-02 light clamps, so i had to use my dremmel to maky the screw hole larger. Also, the light wasnt as powerful as the ADJ Products BLB18W E27 blacklight. This quans was more diffuse light and probably better for illuminating indoor locations.

Great light,high build quality!
I got this to use to cure the resin of my 3D printer and I must say it works GREAT! It was much bigger than I expected and the build quality is amazing. The light feels very sturdy and built well. The electrical cord is a thick gauge wire with a ground. The light is bright and can light up a smaller room if need be. If your purchasing this for a resin printer like myself then only place your prints in here for a few minutes as this light is so bright the prints cure almost instantly. I’m very happy with this light and highly reccomend it.

Perfect for UV curing box
I used these in a UV curing box. Works great, sturdy. I like these alot better than LED strip lights, decent price.

Exposed a pc board in 2 minutes flat!
It normally takes 10-15 minutes to expose positive photoresist pc boards (from, e.g., MG Chemicals or GC) with a 15W "Daylight" fluorescent bulb as recommended by the manufacturers, but the longer the exposure time the more mishaps seem to occur so I finally decided to try a near-UV light source instead, as that is supposed to the part of the spectrum positive photoresist is sensitive to. I made a test board which I exposed successive 1" strips for 2 minutes (10 minutes total) and the last strip - only exposed for 2 minutes - came out perfect! Developing only took about a minute in 1.5% NaOH solution and the board etched cleanly in 1 part muriatic acid to 2 parts 3% hydrogen peroxide normally.Note that UV LEDs do not have long lifespans in general, so don't expect to run it 24/7 for very long. For exposing pc boards, curing SLA resin and the like it should last indefinitely.

doesn't cure anything, phony UV LAMP
I bought this garbage lamp to cure resin injected in on inside cracks on my windshield whichhas a UV screen so the inside wocan't be cured by sunlight. the instuctions for th3e window repair kit said leav e for 10 minutes under a UV lamp or in the sun.. I had this lamp on the windshiled for more than a half hour and none of the resin dried. So when i finished the day outside, i brought this lamp inside and broke out my Norland 61 glue, which I use for optical repair and installations (which takes 30 seconds under my $12 mini UV flashligh for a drop to cure to a pliable plastic state), and put a drop on a baby food jar lid and held this lamp which is much more intense than my 1.5 v uv 1 bulb flashlight, for ONE AND A HALF MINUTES and it was still liquid! so I propped it on it's side with the light on it like I do after a minute or two with the flashlight to cure the Norland to a harder state, and walked away and a couple minutes later instead of curing, the norland had just ran off the baby food lid!THIS IS NOT A UV LAMP!
