Overall a super quiet and nice water fountain! My cats loved it and it was very quiet up until about 21 months of ownership (of it being used pretty much 24/7). About 3 months before the motor became too weak to use, the noise levels did increase but we’re still quieter than many other water fountains. I’ve had several and lots usually die out around the 6th month mark and come pretty noisy. Lasts pretty long for the price!

So I had three cats, and two of the PetSafe Drinkwell fountains for them, and thought everything was fine and dandy. Yeah they were a pain to clean, yeah we had to check the level daily, yeah they were loud af if the water got too low, but what is a loving fuzz parent to do, right? They were fine, we coped. Enter my fourth cat- my rotten little mischievous bellend ginger mad lad Tom kitten. Rescued him from my apartment's dumpster, hanging around a lot of cruddy old furniture. Apparently, his last family moved and put him in the 'not keeping' pile. Brought him in, and he tried like crazy to ingratiate himself to his newfound older siblings. But alas, they were having none of it. I felt bad for the poor little chancer... until. I noticed one evening, relaxing in the bath with my book and vino, that every one of my cats were coming in to drink from my bathwater. Now, my cats love me. Flipping devoted, bless them. But drinking hot butt water? They're much too dignified for such slavishness. But the wine was good and the ego was high, so I didn't think much of it at the moment beyond "yeeeaaah. My funk is lovely." Cut to an hour later, I'm in the kitchen making the next day's lunches for my tax exemptions, and my eldest bipedal cuts off from his conversation to stare in shock into the den and exclaim, "Brooo!! Wtf are you even DOING??". Curiosity piqued, I look around the corner and there's my Sinep (new kitten) squatting above one of the fountains, twig and berries and manky little potting hole, directly in the steam of one of the fountains. Peeing. In the water fountain. And then, seriously seriously, he calmly turns around, splashes his paws in the steam, and saunters away. I'm gobsmacked. I double check the fountain - he couldn't possibly, could he? Oh yes he did. Both of them. The pure evil. I'm dismayed. Did he... did he wash his hands after, having witnessed so many of my own ablutions? I'm so proud. Anyway, long story short, jumped on Amazon and found this bad boy. Highly pleased - holds a tonne of water and the lack of nooks and crannies make it a breeze to clean (important, because biofilm is gross). It's not totally silent, but it is very quiet. And sleek like Whaaat. But most importantly, it's tall enough that a hellbent revenge-minded little tosspot can't saddle up on it. (But currently trying to teach him how to use a bidet. I'll be a TikTok millionaire.) I'd give six stars if I could, but I'll settle for ordering another one as soon as I have disposable income.

After a year of being happy with this water fountain, I noticed the pump wasn't working well and began looking for another fountain. Thankfully I visited the same page and saw the images of separating the pieces of the pump for cleaning which restored the fountain back to new. Happy to save money and continue using this fountain

I've been on the search for a QUIET water fountain for my cat for years and I mean QUIET because it's in our bedroom and as I age I wake up when a gentle breeze barely rustles the leaves outside. I tried a ceramic one that was really pretty but it didn't have a filter and if it wasn't placed EXACTLY RIGHT, you'd end up with a pool of water on the floor. I tried the Eversweet 3 by Petkit because I wanted something that was metal and had a filter and I really liked it but it made noise, not loud, but like, the occasional drip/pour into water sound that was enough to drive me nuts in the middle of the night. I would turn it off for bed but once we got our second cat, what was left in the lil dish wasn't enough for 2 so it'd be bone dry when I woke sometimes so that wasn't going to work.I read the reviews of this and people said it was quiet BUT that's what people said on all the other ones I tried but IT IS! It's dead silent! I haven't had it long, maybe a few weeks, but the size is great, ease of cleaning and care is no diff than the Eversweet and I haven't gone low on water yet and may not because I refresh it weekly but I do like that feature. I REALLY wish it wasn't plastic, which is truly the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars. I know I ordered a plastic one (I HATE when people give something lower stars bcs they didn't freaking measure things out and complain "it's too big/small") but I give it one less in case the company is looking and wants to know how to improve this thing... that would be it. Make it something not plastic. :)If you need a quiet as silence fountain for your kitties, this is the one!

This cat water fountain makes absolutely no noise at all. It bubbles very softly and the blue light disappears when it's time to clean it. Great feature. Our cat loves it and there is always clean water available for him. Worth the money. Also, it is not too big so it can be placed anywhere near an outlet and won't be in the way. This is a "gotta have it" item!

Bought this 11/14/2022, it stopped working 3 days ago. I clean it frequently, take the interior sponge filter out, wash it and rinse it, replace the water filters - routine maintenance. And it stopped pumping completely. Was nice when it worked, both my cats enjoy it. Thought it would last a while longer.

It is quiet and my cats use it with no problems. I like it but the pump barely lasted a year. I went to see if there was a replacement pump and now the entire product isn’t even available. I have a whole box of new filters I can’t return so now I’ll be buying another water tank that uses the same filter and hope it lasts longer.
